Hexowatch is pretty cool. It uses AI to monitor visual, content, source code, and even tech stack changes. They are also currently running a lifetime deal: hexact.pxf.io/XxMndG

@magicroundabout I couldn't comment on your wp-config.php article, but the custom user and meta table constants are generally used if you want to have shared user logins/data in a multi-tenancy setup.

Sources of problems Plugin or theme- turn them all off and test. If it fixes the issue, turn them on one at a time until it breaks again. Fix: Reach out to author or find a new one @wpscholar recommended wordpress.org/plugins/plugin… it can automate re-enablement.
