I just uploaded a video exposing how broken the YouTube AI is. @TeamYouTube falsely demonetized my meme reaction channel. First they accused me of "Harmful content involving minors", then quietly changed it to "Misleading family content". The bot is literally just guessing violations and destroying real creators' income. This injustice has to stop.

When I couldn’t do much else, I worked on this. It gave me purpose, stability, and a reason to keep moving forward. And now, it’s all gone. My channel was flagged for “harmful content involving minors” and “sexual abuse” claims that are simply not true. There was no warning, no clear explanation, and no access to real human support. Just like that, everything disappeared. I’m exhausted and I know I’m not the only creator going through this right now. Putting in the effort to keep creating while managing a chronic illness is already a challenge. To have everything taken away like this is heartbreaking. What’s the value of recognizing, verifying, or even awarding creators if their work can be erased instantly without a proper review? I’m asking for a human review of my channel. This isn’t just a collection of videos. It represents 13 years of dedication and one of YouTube’s largest historical archives. And I’m not alone. Over 200 creators have reported being demonetized or removed under vague policy labels such as: • “Harmful content involving minors” • “Misleading Family Content” • “Content related to sexual abuse” Why is educational content no longer being protected?

Unfortunately, I still haven’t heard anything back from @TeamYouTube beyond a generic reply they sent me in January. My 10-year gaming/tutorial channel with 800+ videos was removed on Jan 17 with no warnings or strikes, and all videos were monetised. When this happened, I appealed through the Studio dashboard and it was denied in under a minute. After around 50 emails back and forth, all I’ve been told is “spam/scams/deceptive practices” from Creator Support with no specifics provided. In 2016, my channel was terminated under the same category and later reinstated following a manual review. This channel means a lot to me and all I want is a real human to review it so I can put this behind me and get back to doing what I love = creating videos. On March 5, monetization was taken away from my AimiSuee channel (inauthentic content). On March 15, it was restored. @YouTubeCreators @TeamYouTube @YouTube I want to say this to everyone who is dealing with the same problem right now: do not give up. If you are sure your content does not violate YouTube’s rules, fight until the end. Post on Twitter. Contact YouTube Support through YouTube Studio. Push for a manual review. Send evidence. Do not stay silent and do not give up after the first rejection. I proved that my channel does not violate YouTube’s monetization policies. The monetization was restored. Hello everyone - I have good news again. My monetization has been restored for the second time after being disabled under the “misleading family content” policy. For context, here’s the timeline of what happened: Feb 3 - monetization disabled Feb 27 - restored after a manual review following my posts here on X Mar 7 - disabled again for the same reason Mar 11 - I submitted an appeal through YouTube Studio explaining the full situation. Mar 14 - today I received confirmation that the appeal was successful and my channel can monetize again. I’m truly grateful to everyone who supported me during this process - the reposts, comments, and messages meant a lot. And I sincerely wish the best of luck to other creators currently working to resolve demonetization issues on their channels. After almost 2 MONTHS, @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators @YouTube reviewed my case and confirmed the channel terminations were a MISTAKE, and the channels were restored. I’m extremely grateful to the team that took the time to review it and correct the issue. However, the channels are STILL DEMONETIZED, which is still affecting my business and the 15 people on my team who work on these channels every day. While I’m very thankful the termination was overturned, monetization being disabled is still a major issue for us. Hoping this part can also be REVIEWED AND RESTORED so we can fully get back to operating normally.

A member of your team saw my post, helped escalate my case, and after a manual review my monetization was restored - something I’m truly grateful for. hey @TeamYouTube @ReneRitchie, i’m writing this because i’m honestly at a breaking point. my channel (468k subs) was just demonetized for "harmful content involving minors," but it’s a total mistake. case # 4-7797000040751. my content is just funny 3D animations and reactions to harmless memes. there is ZERO mature or sexual themes, no violence, nothing harmful. i spend so much time on editing and making sure everything is safe. i’m just a creator making people laugh. this channel was my only source of income. because of this AI error, i’m now unemployed and can’t pay my bills or support my family. it’s terrifying to lose everything overnight over a glitch. @KreekCraft already exposed how many innocent animators are being hit by this broken system. @NARMAK13 got his monetization back because he likely had the right connections to get a real look at his case. @JamiUwUs only got hers back after @YaBoyRoshi stepped in to reach a manager.
