@jhaeharmony @JiggyJerome @ClassicLearner It exists now in places like Mauritania & Libya, though they hide it well. As I say, I don’t disagree with you, but slavery was the norm globally. Britain paid the rich to end it, and patrolled the sea. Was that right? Probably not, but it was the only way to end it without war.

Wrong is wrong regardless, but let’s be 100% real, chattel slavery was exclusively practiced in the U.S., and there is nothing in history that even remotely compares to the way America codified, expanded, and industrialized it. It wasn’t just enslavement, it was a permanent, hereditary system based entirely on race, turning Africans and their descendants into property generation after generation. That is America’s original sin, and no deflection changes that. Yes, African warlords played a role in selling captives to Europeans, but that doesn’t absolve the U.S. or Europe. Without the demand, the ships, and the laws that made Black bodies into generational wealth, the transatlantic slave trade wouldn’t have become the largest forced migration in human history. Blaming African intermediaries while ignoring the Western system that turned human beings into an economic engine is just scapegoating. And as for the British “ending it”? They abolished their slave trade in 1807 and slavery in 1833, but only after centuries of profiting massively from it, and they paid reparations not to the enslaved, but to the damn slave owners for their “loss of property.” Meanwhile, the U.S. dragged its feet until a bloody civil war, then replaced slavery with Jim Crow, convict leasing, and systemic racism that still lingers. Absolutely nothing compares to the uniquely vicious, race-based chattel slavery system the U.S. created. Evil is evil wherever it exists, but trying to flatten history into “everyone did it” is nothing more than an attempt to water down the horrors America built into law.

Why is it that when schools teach about Andrew Jackson you only hear about the trail of tears? Why aren’t students taught that he took on the banks? That he was one of the most popular presidents in American history? That he was the only president in American history to fully pay off the national debt? There has been an insidious agenda to turn Americans against our roots. It’s time we take our history back.

@jhaeharmony @JiggyJerome @ClassicLearner I’m not American thankfully. And my family were not wealthy Brits. They were very poor. Granted it’s not chattel slavery, but their lives were not “good”. America is not unique in its slave trade though. Chattel slavery existed in Africa, and the Islamic world.

@jhaeharmony @JiggyJerome @ClassicLearner I don’t actually disagree with you. It was indeed appalling. The Arabs cut off their slaves’ genitals. Do you offer any blame to the African warlords who captured and sold the slaves en masse to the Europeans? And how do you feel that the British ended it?

Oblivious Caucasians stay trying to conflate history to make their racism seem like it was a just damn cause. Miss all of us with that asinine BS. Yes, slavery existed in different forms throughout history, but chattel slavery as invented and codified in the United States was unique. It was race-based, hereditary, and designed to permanently strip Black people of humanity, rights, and freedom for generations. That wasn’t “just like Africa” or “just like the Arab world”, that was an American evil engineered into law. And let’s not play word games. Black people in this country didn’t even get full civil rights until 61 years ago, in my mother’s lifetime. That’s not ancient history, that’s living memory. Trying to lump U.S. chattel slavery into some vague “humans are bad to each other” narrative is nothing but a weak attempt to erase accountability and downplay the magnitude of what was done here. I’ll say what I stated earlier: it’s abundantly obvious you didn’t think this through. Slavery in Africa or the Arab world doesn’t diminish the horrors of American slavery or the systemic racism that followed. Conflation isn’t context, it’s deflection. And no amount of historical cherry-picking will ever sanitize what this country built on the backs of my people.

@TheLittleWaster This is absolutely appalling to hear. He clearly isn’t the brightest spark this country has to offer. And to say such horribly racist falsehoods… there’s a four letter word to describe him. The man needs a history lesson.

@jhaeharmony @JiggyJerome @ClassicLearner So did slavery. That existed in Africa, and the Arab world who were trading millions of people long before the Europeans got there. The fact is, humans are shit to one another. Sometimes people get things right, other times wrong, and other times HUGELY wrong.

You really didn’t think this through, Mr. KKK. Scalping existed long before Europeans, yes, but who industrialized it, put bounties on Native scalps (including women and children), and turned it into a government-backed extermination campaign? White colonists and the U.S. government. Calling Indigenous people “savages” for fighting back while ignoring the fact that settlers were slaughtering them by the thousands, stealing their land, and weaponizing disease is peak hypocrisy. Resistance to genocide doesn’t erase who started the genocide. And let’s not pretend only Natives engaged in brutality. Colonists burned entire villages, massacred unarmed women and children, and proudly displayed their “trophies.” That’s not civilization, that’s state-sanctioned terrorism and barbarism. Naw, you don’t get to cherry-pick history and act like white hands are clean. The blood runs just as red, and in America’s case, it’s soaked into the very foundation of this country. You tried it though 😂

@justalexoki It’s mass migration, and importantly, the loss of national cultures. People don’t want a homogenous global culture. It’s not that people are suddenly massive racists, but rather, people don’t want to lose their cultural identity to some thin skinned global multiculture.

Apparently @WavesCarWashLtd in Aylesbury charges £32 to dent and scratch and not clean your car, leaving smudges and clearly not cleaned areas. I’m livid. Getting dents and scratches fixed will cost a lot, and I want a full refund for the poor clean. #wavescarwash

Firstly, we will reinstate capital punishment. A majority of the British people want it retuned for certain crimes. The Southport monster would not be breathing today to able to attack prison guards. On a day we wake up to hear that 2 Afghans have tortured and raped a 12 year old girl, not only will they face that punishment but all those who have authorised bringing them and millions of others from 3rd would societies, like them to this nation, without mandate from or consultation with the British people, driven by warped left wing ideology, will also face a reinstated and modern definition of treachery, carrying that same sanction. Anyone complicit lower down will face life imprisonment. The entire present political class will be swept away. Many of them will be facing said criminal charges for their parts in the unprecedented criminality and coercion during Covid and mass immigration past and present. The same applies for much of Whitehall and those within it. As we inform the British public of the unimaginable betrayal by successive governments and at a local level also, going back at least 4 decades, naturally an environment of great hostility will build towards those responsible and those of their most outward supporters and enablers. The history is all there… You see Brendan, the metropolitan middle class male and his ‘liberal’ ideals, the Blair’s and Starmer’s, have wrought rapidly unravelling chaos within our societies and have brought us to where we are, such as the reactionary scenes above that you find so distasteful, and I inevitable and we haven’t gone to the gritty parts, and there will be retribution by the native British public for it. An increasingly nativist British public in an increasingly nativist world. Our near nationalist future will empower them to only reclaim what is theirs, to be proud of their culture and achievements but also mark a clear deterrent for those who would betray and deny them of it.

@dom_lucre Islam is the way. In Islamic nations we don't tolerate this kind of disrespect toward Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him), whom we honor as one of the greatest messengers of God. Respect for all prophets is a core principle in our faith.
