“Free trade in Canada by Canada Day." That is what Mark Carney consistently promised. But simply tabling federal trade barrier legislation without passing it will not accomplish the grand gesture the prime minister promised on the campaign trail. Canadians deserve better.

Elections Canada printed the wrong postal code on its own return envelopes. That’s not a typo — that’s like a bank wiring your money to the wrong account and calling it “an honest mistake.” How many ballots disappeared because Elections Canada forgot its own address? This isn’t minor. And yes — this election needs to be done all over again.
