KRA is not playing with MPs.
In 2022, each MP was given 7.5M to buy a car.
- Use it for work and,
- After the term, keep it or sell it.
In 2023, KRA caught wind of it.
And quickly fired a tax demand to Parliament of Ksh 1B.
KRA argued:
- Car grants are gains from employment
- If MPs were not in office, they wouldn’t get them
- Ordinary citizens do not get car grants
- If MPs can keep or sell the cars at will, that is a direct gain
- It must be taxed under PAYE.
Parliament pushed back that:
- Car grants are reimbursements for work transport.
- MPs are not employees
- So this is not taxable income
When KRA persisted, the parliament ran to court.
- The tribunal agreed with KRA arguments and demand 100%.
Parliament saw danger.
In December 2024, MPs enacted the tax law amendment bill.
They quickly changed the income tax law to read.
- MPs car grants are not taxable
- Even if the MP owns the asset
And they backdated it to apply from 2022.
KRA still wanted their money.
Parliament ran to high court. Arguing,
- How can KRA tax something we have already declared non taxable retrospectively?
In 2026, High court sided with KRA demand of 1B.
Now the matter heads to the Court of Appeal.
What do you think:
- Are MPs employees?
- Should their car grants be taxed?

I've researched Governor Wavinya Ndeti's academic background, but it doesn't specifically mention a thesis on Artificial Intelligence from 1992. What I found is,
-She holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA).
-She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
While her Bachelor's degree is in Computer Science, which is related to AI, my search results did not confirm a specific thesis on AI from 1992.
It's possible she focused on AI within her Computer Science studies, or that the specific thesis topic isn't widely published or indexed.
She may face scrutiny regarding her academic background in AI. Alternatively, she could share her AI thesis for us to study.

Armchair psychoanalysis? Oh, I'm sorry, I thought we were having a discussion about logic and evidence, not a theological séance. But if you're so sensitive about having your reasoning picked apart, perhaps stick to praying for answers instead of debating them.
You call it a 'contradiction,' I call it your refusal to accept the limits of your own understanding. You declare natural explanations 'IMPOSSIBLE' because they don't fit your pre-packaged answer.
Let's break down your 'logic' again, shall we?
-You say natural things can't precede the Big Bang unless they came from nothing or were eternal.
-You declare both of those 'impossible.'
-Therefore, your God is 'more likely.'
And here's the problem,
-You haven't proven 'natural things' are impossible. You've just asserted it. Science is still exploring quantum foam, eternal inflation, cyclical universes, concepts that challenge your simplistic 'nothing' or 'eternal' dichotomy. Your 'impossibility' is based on a lack of imagination, not a lack of possibility.
-You've created a false dichotomy. Even if we grant your premise (which we don't), why does the 'impossibility' of A and B automatically make C (your God) the only or most likely answer? It's like saying 'This car isn't red, and it isn't blue, so it must be a unicorn.' You're just inserting your preferred explanation without proof.
-Your 'God' is the ultimate 'impossible' entity. You need a creator that is itself uncaused, eternal, and not subject to the laws it supposedly created. So, you've just invented a far more complex, unevidenced 'impossible' thing to explain away simpler mysteries. That's not logic; that's special pleading and intellectual laziness.
So, no, it's not a contradiction you're pointing out, it's your own logical gymnastics to avoid admitting you don't know and that your belief is based on faith, not reason. My 'worldview' embraces the unknown and yours just hides behind a story.
English

@WajingaFinder @Akkue12 Thanks for the armchair psychoanalysis.
My point which keeps evading you is that it's not a mystery, it's a contradiction. No natural thing could have preceded the big bang unless it came from nothing or was eternal. That's impossible so IMO God is more likely.
English

Oh, so it's not 'I don't know, therefore God'? It's 'I don't know, therefore MY SPECIFIC GOD is the only possible answer, even if it's improbable'?
There is nothing logic about it, but you claim the universe can't come from nothing or be eternal. Fine. But you then leap to a 'creator', an entity that itself must have a cause, an origin, or be eternal.
So, you're just pushing the 'uncaused cause' problem back a step, but you're doing it with a story.
The Big Bang is a scientific model, not a definitive 'nothing'. It describes a state of extreme density and energy from which our universe expanded.
We don't know what preceded it, or what its ultimate cause is. That's the mystery. Science admits the mystery.
Your 'creator' doesn't solve the mystery, it just replaces it with a more complex, unevidenced mystery. You need a creator who is omnipotent, omniscient, etc., that's a far bigger, more improbable leap than exploring the physics of the Big Bang/the possibility of an eternal, cyclical universe.
You're not choosing the 'least impossible' option, you're choosing the option that requires the least amount of thinking and the most amount of faith.
My worldview doesn't contradict reality, it embraces the fact that we don't have all the answers yet and trusts in the process of discovery, not in ancient stories.
You're the one clinging to an improbable, unevidenced 'creator' because the unknown scares you.
English

@WajingaFinder @Akkue12 It's not, 'I don't know, therefore God."
It's that the atheist worldview contradicts reality. The universe cannot come from nothing or be eternal. Those are logically impossible.
...A third option is belief in a creator. No matter how improbable, the other two are impossible.
English

Exactly. NO ONE CAN ACCOUNT FOR IT. That is the point.
You cannot account for it, I cannot account for it, and definitely, your imaginary friend in the sky cannot account for it either.
So why are you filling the gap with fairy tales?
Why are you inventing a 'God' just because we don't have the answer yet?
That is called ARGUMENT FROM IGNORANCE. 'I don't know, therefore GOD DID IT.'
At least science admits what it doesn't know and keeps searching for truth. Religion just stops thinking, makes up a story, and calls it fact.
You are proving my point, miseducation makes you think a story is better than a mystery.
English

@WajingaFinder @Akkue12 If you had done your homework you would know that no-one can account for what caused the big bang.
English

@RUniverseOrg @Akkue12 There is no such thing as an atheist outside of the white man's narrative. You cannot call an African atheist. That is just what they call you when you refuse their god. Asking me how things exist? Read about the Big Bang. That is the science of creation. Do your homework.
English

@Akkue12 I have one request from atheists. Explain how anything exists at all.
English

@Scarlett2O2O @daroljorg @NathrixOfficial Your question is the perfect example of miseducation. After humans die? NOTHING but the things they built with their intellect and science while alive will still be here helping others. That is immortality.
English

@WajingaFinder @daroljorg @NathrixOfficial Well after you die, how will the intellect, and sciences benefit you?

Imagine a person's mind as a plot of land, ready to be built upon. This land is naturally fertile, capable of growing anything.
1/
Religion as the First Builder (Working BECAUSE the Land is Ready)
When a person is born, their mind is like that virgin land. It's open, receptive, and ready for structure. Religion often arrives as the first builder.
It lays the foundation, it provides the initial framework for understanding the world, concepts of good and evil, purpose, and the afterlife.
It erects the walls, it offers explanations for life's mysteries and establishes social norms and community structures.
It furnishes the rooms, it gives rituals, traditions, and a sense of belonging.
For a mind that hasn't yet developed its own architectural plans (critical thinking, scientific inquiry), these ready-made structures are incredibly appealing. They provide immediate shelter, order, and a sense of completion. The religion works because it fills a void, providing a complete, albeit pre-fabricated, dwelling for the mind. The "stupidity" isn't inherent, but rather a lack of exposure to other architectural styles or the tools to design them.
2/
Religion as the Architect of a Prison (Making the Land Unusable for Anything Else)
However, what if this first builder doesn't just erect a house, but builds a fortress designed to keep other builders out?
What if the architect declares;
-"This is the only way to build. All other blueprints are flawed or dangerous."
-"You must not question the foundation. It was laid by divine hands."
-"Do not dig too deep, for you might find the earth is not as the architect described."
-"Your purpose is to maintain this house, not to build new wings or explore the land beyond."
In this case, religion actively hinders the development of independent thought.
It discourages questioning, discourages exploration of alternative ideas, and discourages the use of tools (like science or philosophy) that could lead to different constructions.
The mind, which was once fertile land, becomes a plot where only one type of rigid structure is permitted.
Over time, the ability to conceive of/build anything else atrophies. The mind becomes accustomed to living within the confines of the religious structure, unable to imagine or create different ways of understanding or living.
It becomes "stupid" not by nature, but by the deliberate construction of intellectual walls and the suppression of alternative blueprints.
The Interplay is that the religion often takes root in the fertile ground of an open, uncritical mind. But then, it frequently acts to prevent that mind from developing the tools necessary to question its own foundations or to explore alternative structures. It exploits the initial receptiveness and then actively cultivates a state where independent intellectual construction becomes difficult, if not impossible.
The land becomes less capable of growing diverse ideas, and the religion thrives on that limited growth.

Imagine a newborn baby.
Pure.
Unwritten.
A blank slate.
Their eyes open to the world, and they see light, colors, faces. They feel warmth, hunger, comfort.
They do not know "God." They do not know "sin." They do not know "heaven" or "hell." They know only the immediate reality of their senses.
Then, the stories begin.
From the moment they can understand words, the filling begins;
-A parent points to the sky and says, "God made all this."
-A grandparent whispers, "Pray for protection, child."
-A teacher reads from a holy book, "In the beginning..."
- Friends talk about "good" and "evil," "right" and "wrong," all tied to unseen forces and ancient rules.
The stories become the framework through which the child sees everything. These stories are like seeds planted in fertile ground.
The young mind, eager to understand the world, absorbs them. It doesn't question. It doesn't analyze. It simply accepts.
The stories become the framework through which the child sees everything.
-A storm is not just weather; it's "God's anger."
-A success is not just hard work; it's "God's blessing."
-A failure is not just bad luck; it's "God's test" or "the Devil's work."
The world is no longer just the world. It is filtered through the lens of these planted beliefs.
And the irony?
The people planting these seeds genuinely believe they are doing good. They believe they are saving the child's soul. They believe these stories are the ultimate truth.
But they are filing a mind that was born free with chains.
They are teaching a child to look up for answers, instead of looking within.
They are replacing the beautiful, complex reality of existence with simple, often contradictory, narratives.
We are born without beliefs, but we are not allowed to stay that way.
The stories come, and they shape us, often without us ever realizing we were being filled.
English

First thing first, learn the definition of miseducation. You would know the miseducation is the result of being taught to pray for miracles instead of making them. You mistake the power that builds for calling myself 'god'? That's just your indoctrinated brain seeing demons where there's only reality. So keep your clowns.
English

@WajingaFinder @NathrixOfficial 🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡
WOW!!
That's a lot of words to say NOTHING.
But what I did get out of the light skim is that you think YOU are god.
Did I get that right?
English

You are right. Everyone has a god they worship.
But my God is not a man hanging on a cross.
My God is not a story written by slaves and polished by emperors.
My God is not invisible, silent, and distant.
I WORSHIP THE HUMAN POTENTIAL.
I worship Reason, Strength, Science, and Reality.
I worship the power to think, to build, to create, and to conquer.
I worship the ability to turn darkness into light, deserts into farms, and problems into solutions.
Your god demands you be weak, poor, and waiting for death.
My god commands me to be strong, rich, and to make heaven here on earth.
You worship a savior because you feel like a sinner.
I worship myself because I know I am the master of my own destiny.
So yes, I have a God. And it is the only God that has ever moved mountains, cured diseases, and built civilizations.
English

@WajingaFinder @NathrixOfficial Everyone has a god that they worship.
What is the god that you worship?

DEVOLUTION IS NOT THE PROBLEM. BAD LEADERSHIP IS.
Bonnie Mwangi says it is too expensive and not working. He says 50% of counties raise less than 3% of their own budgets.
But the truth is we do not need to abolish it. We need to FIX it.
Because if you remove devolution, you remove the only bridge that brings resources close to the people.
Abolishing it would be a great mistake. Before 2010, power was concentrated in Nairobi. A farmer in Turkana, a mother in Mandera, a trader in Migori, they had to travel hundreds of kilometers just to ask for a road, a hospital, or water.
Decisions were made by people who had never set foot in their villages.
Devolution changed that.
It brought the government to your doorstep. It gave you a governor, an MCA, a local government that knows your name, your problems, and your soil.
THE PROOF IT IS WORKING and since devolution started;
- Over KSh 4 Trillion has been sent directly to counties.
- Health workers have quadrupled, doctors from 874 to over 4,600, nurses to 34,000+.
- Hundreds of dispensaries, health centers, and ECDE schools have been built where there was nothing.
- Roads that were forgotten for 50 years are now being graded and maintained locally.
- Water projects are reaching villages that only drank from rivers before.
This is what "resources close to the people" looks like. You cannot get this from a central government sitting in Nairobi.
YES, IT IS EXPENSIVE. BUT WHY? The problem is not the system. The problem is greed and mismanagement.
- 70% of county money goes to salaries and allowances, leaving only 12% for actual development.
- Leaders buy expensive cars, travel excessively, and inflate contracts.
- They fail to collect taxes because they are lazy or corrupt.
If you abolish devolution today, you are punishing the people for the sins of the thieves.
You are taking away the power from the citizens and giving it back to the powerful men in the city.
And how to make it better is that we don't need to throw away the baby with the bathwater. We need to;
1. Cap the wage bill strictly, no more than 35% of budget.
2. Force counties to collect their own revenue, punish those who don't.
3. Increase transparency, every shilling must be accounted for publicly.
4. Fire the corrupt leaders and jail them.
Evolution is the heartbeat of equality in Kenya. It is the only way to ensure that no region is left behind.
It is the only way to make sure that resources do not just circulate in Nairobi, but reach the grassroots.
Do not abolish what heals us. Fix what is broken.
English

Bonnie Mwangi: It's time to abolish devolution. It's too expensive and not working.
Mwangi, an economist, says 50% of counties cannot raise more than 3% of their budgets, more than a decade into devolution.

If you truly want to heal humanity, you have to understand that Christianity is not just a religion.
It is a mental virus, a system of control, and a cult that has infected the mind of mankind for many years.
It teaches people to hate themselves, to love their chains, to wait for death instead of living life, and to accept suffering as "God's will."
So, how do we remove it? Not with bombs, but with TRUTH.
i) EXPOSE THE ORIGIN is the first step is to teach every child the real history. Christianity was not invented by God. It was invented by men like Paul, polished by Emperor Constantine, and used by Kings and Empires to control slaves.
It is a mixture of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman paganism repackaged. Once people know that the cross, the sunday, and the stories are all stolen, the power dies.
ii) DESTROY THE FEAR PROGRAMMING because the cult survives on fear, Fear of Hell, Fear of Sin, Fear of "The Devil".
We must replace fear with Reason.
Teach people that you do not need a savior because you are not a sinner. You are a human being with power and potential.
When you remove the fear of an invisible punishment, you remove their control over your emotions and decisions.
iii) REJECT THE "SLAVE MORALITY" as christianity teaches "Turn the other cheek", "Blessed are the poor", "Obey your leaders", "The meek shall inherit the earth". This is a code for submission. We must bring back Strength, Pride, and Justice.
Teach people to stand up, to fight back, to demand wealth, and to refuse oppression. A healthy world does not want to be meek, it wants to be strong.
iv) SWITCH FOCUS FROM "THE AFTERLIFE" TO "THIS LIFE". The biggest scam is making you focus on a "kingdom in the sky" so that you accept garbage here on earth.
We must change the mindset that;
This life is the only one.
This world is our home.
We must build paradise here, not wait for it after we die.
When people start loving life, valuing science, and enjoying nature, the church becomes irrelevant.
v) STARVE THEM FINANCIALLY because the cult is a business. It runs on tithes and offerings.
Stop giving them your money.
Stop building their mansions while you live in shacks.
When the money stops, the noise stops. The structure collapses.
When we remove this cult, humanity will;
- Stop fighting over who believes what.
- Start using their brains to solve problems instead of praying.
- Respect women instead of treating them like property.
- Unite as one human family instead of being divided by labels.
The world was here before Jesus, and it will be here after him.
We are not destroying anything, we are simply waking up.
Remove the virus, and the mind heals.
Remove the cult, and the world becomes whole again.
English

And honestly, you only feel miseducated when you try to claim that humanity is better off without atheism.
Wake up and look at the world.
For thousands of years, religion has promised us peace, but what has it given us? Wars, crusades, terrorism, division, hatred, and people are killing each other because they pray differently. Religion has been used to control minds, justify slavery, and stop progress.
Atheism is simply the refusal to be controlled by fear.
It is the decision to use your brain, to look for evidence, and to take responsibility for your own life.
An atheist does not need a book to tell them killing is wrong. They do not need a threat of hell to be a good person. They do good because it is right, not because they are trying to bribe a god for a ticket to heaven.
You say we cannot do without it?
I say we cannot progress WITH it.
We cannot build a modern world when people are still living in ancient myths and fighting over invisible beings.
Atheism is not emptiness, it is clarity. It is knowing that this life is the only one you have, so you must make it count, you must treat people well, and you must build paradise here on earth, not wait for it after you die.
So stop acting like not believing makes you a monster.
It actually makes you more human.
