Founder: "What Makes a "Superb" SEO Keyword in Ecommerce?" Me: "That's a secret I don't normally share. But let me..." A superb ecom keyword isn't just low competition. It's a perfect storm of 5 things happening at once. Here's what I look for: 1. Keyword Difficulty under 10 - The lower, the faster you can rank. - Most ecom stores skip low KD keywords chasing "big" terms. - Big mistake. 2. Monthly search volume above 100 - You need real people actually searching it. - Under 100/mo and you're optimizing for ghosts. - Sweet spot: 100-2,000/mo for newer stores. 3. Commercial or transactional intent - "Best running shoes for women" = buyer. - "What are running shoes" = browser. - You want buyers, not browsers. 4. Weak domain authority in the top 10 - Pull up the SERP and check who's ranking. - If DR 20-40 sites are on page 1, you can compete. - If it's Amazon, REI, and Nike — move on. 5. Specific to a product category you actually sell - Ranking for something you don't sell is useless traffic. - Every keyword should map to a real product or collection page. - Intent + relevance = conversions. A keyword that checks all 5 boxes? That's a superb keyword. Go after it hard. Most ecom brands I talk to are chasing volume and ignoring everything else. They want 10,000 searches a month. But they'd be better off with 10 keywords at 500/mo that they can actually rank for and convert. Superb keywords aren't always the sexy ones. They're the ones that quietly drive revenue while your competitors overlook them. --- Does your keyword research pass this test? Repost if this changes how you think about SEO for ecommerce. P.S. I run SEO for ecom brands at TrioSEO. If you want us to find your "superb" keywords and rank for them, book a call: calendly.com/connorgillivan

Honestly, this is the most accurate diagram I've seen. Waterfall: You plan for 18 months and deliver exactly what nobody needs anymore. Agile: You deliver something usable at every step, but the CEO keeps asking, "Where's the car?" AI: You get the car on day one. It has six wheels, the doors are on backwards, and it has a rocket launcher. You spend more time making it yours than actually "building"; it's shaping. owning. verifying. That's what the best AI developers do now. They don't build. They shape and own.

Do this and end up with 200 pages of content that nobody reads and Google refuses to rank. I run SEO for real businesses every day. Here is what actually works in 2026. One page targeting one keyword with real depth beats 50 AI generated fluff pieces. Every time.

opencode 1.3.0 will no longer autoload the claude max plugin we did our best to convince anthropic to support developer choice but they sent lawyers it's your right to access services however you wish but it is also their right to block whoever they want we can't maintain an official plugin so it's been removed from github and marked deprecated on npm appreciate our partners at openai, github and gitlab who are going the other direction and supporting developer freedom

OpenAI launches Instant Checkout and the Agentic Commerce Protocol 👇💸 OpenAI has just released Instant Checkout for ChatGPT, powered by an Agentic Commerce Protocol, built with Stripe: "This marks the next step in agentic commerce, where ChatGPT doesn’t just help you find what to buy, it also helps you buy it. For shoppers, it’s seamless: go from chat to checkout in just a few taps. For sellers, it’s a new way to reach hundreds of millions of people while keeping full control of their payments, systems, and customer relationships." How it works? * When someone asks a shopping question—“best running shoes under $100” or “gifts for a ceramics lover” — ChatGPT shows the most relevant products from across the web. Product results are organic and unsponsored, ranked purely on relevance to the user. * If a product supports Instant Checkout, users can tap “Buy,” confirm their order, shipping, and payment details, and complete the purchase without ever leaving the chat. Existing ChatGPT subscribers can pay with their card on file, or other card and express payment options. * Orders, payments, and fulfillment are handled by the merchant using their existing systems. ChatGPT simply acts as the user’s AI agent—securely passing information between user and merchant, just like a digital personal shopper would. * Merchants pay a small fee on completed purchases, but the service is free for users, doesn’t affect their prices, and doesn’t influence ChatGPT’s product results. Instant Checkout items are not preferred in product results. When ranking multiple merchants that sell the same product, ChatGPT considers factors like availability, price, quality, whether a merchant is the primary seller, and whether Instant Checkout is enabled, to optimize the user experience. * At the core of this experience is the Agentic Commerce Protocol which provides the language that lets AI agents and businesses work together to complete a purchase for a user. * Merchants who want to enable Instant Checkout should implement the Agentic Commerce Protocol and provide OpenAI with a product feed through the Product Feed Spec. Who can access it and which products are available at the moment? * US ChatGPT Plus, Pro, and Free users can now buy directly from U.S. Etsy sellers right in chat, with over a million Shopify merchants, like Glossier, SKIMS, Spanx and Vuori, coming soon. * Instant Checkout supports single-item purchases. In the future, they will add multi-item carts and expand merchants and regions. * They're also open-sourcing the technology that powers Instant Checkout, the Agentic Commerce Protocol, so that more merchants and developers can begin building their integrations: agenticcommerce(.)dev (an open standard for AI commerce that lets AI agents, people, and businesses work together to complete purchases. They co-developed it with Stripe. Learn more: openai.com/index/buy-it-i…
