I’m just stating that videos like this are misleading because budgets are a negotiation between three entities, each of which could belong to either party. @najam_ali According to your logic, if a street gang decides to put up a toll booth, and a few of the locals who have no other choice decide to pay the toll rather than starve, you would be fine with the toll? The Strait, as it's been used for years, primarily uses Omani waters for transit.

I am genuinely struggling to understand this logic. If the rest of the world is willing to pay a small toll to Iran to keep oil flowing and stabilise markets, then why does the U.S. feel the need to block all shipping, especially when it is not dependent on that oil?

$81 MILLION for a center??? Are front offices just throwing numbers at the wall now? Tyler Linderbaum just got 3 years, $81M with $60M guaranteed from the Las Vegas Raiders… and somehow that now makes him the highest-paid interior OL in NFL history. Don’t get me wrong ,he’s a good player. But $27M a year for a center?? When teams are struggling to pay tackles, receivers, and defensive stars? This market is getting completely out of control. And the Baltimore Ravens just sitting there watching him walk while another team resets the entire market overnight. At this rate the next decent guard is about to ask for $30M a year and someone will probably say yes. NFL contracts are starting to look like a bidding war with no common sense left.

@MarkWin1432 @heresyfinancial It’s not that simple. It’s retarded in general because it still doesn’t reliably work for most employees. It could only work in theory if everyone has identical tax reporting items, which is not and will never be the case.

America doesn’t need direct file It needs return-free filing. The IRS already has all your taxable data. Every year the IRS should either send you a bill or a check. If you think they got it wrong then you can file.

@RaiderDhillon1 You mean how did Carr fumble it. Adams and Jacobs were 1st Team All Pro selections. Carr was benched and led the league in turnovers at the time he was sat. This is an offense Mac Jones was a rookie Pro Bowler and Drake Maye was an MVP candidate in both their 1st years in it.

Why the NBA should embrace tanking - The NBA has kate been misguided thinking that fans want to see their teams compete every night with a chance to win. It’s never been that way that way. When I got into the nba, they thought they were in the basketball business. They aren’t. They are in the business of creating experiences for fans. Few can remember the score from the last game they saw or went to. They can’t remember the dunks or shots. What they remember is who they were with. Their family, friends, a date. That’s what makes the experience special. Fans know their team can’t win every game. They know only one team can win a ring. What fan that care about their team’s record want is hope. Hope they will get better and have a chance to compete for the playoffs and then maybe a ring. The one way to get closer to that is via the draft. And trades. And cap room. You have a better chance of improving via all 3 , when you tank. We didn’t tank often. Only a few times over 23 years, but when we did, our fans appreciated it. And it got us to where we could improve, trade up to get Luka and improve our team. The nba should worry more about fan experience than tanking. It should worry more about pricing fans out of games than tanking. You know who cares the least about tanking , a parent who cant afford to bring their 3 kids to a game and buy their kids a jersey of their fave player Tanking isn’t the issue.
