@Ollie_Vargas_ indigenous bolivians (the majority) have seen what life was like under evo, and how it was under every single president who was an obedient dog to the US. you wont find many countries where the majority of the population will defend their president with their lives.

Rural indigenous communities have surrounded Evo Morales' residence to protect him. Leaked docs (attached below) show US armed forces & Bolivian police preparing a joint operation to kidnap him & massacre villagers. "If we surrender now, how will our future generations live?"

Clip from Tulikaste or Baptism of fire. This film was produced in 2000 by the Finnish defence forces to give Finnish conscripts a realistic look of how an frontline defence would look like if an enemy attacks Finland. The defenders are a group of reservists stationed in a well prepared defence line consisting of concrete lined foxholes and they are being attacked by an unnamed enemy.

The idea that people as individuals are separate from their nation as a whole and who leads it is a dangerous fantasy that has ruined western civilization No you are not in fact an individual in any way
Mr Pendragon@ElderberrySmell

@HomericFuturist One of the biggest political distinctions is how large and involved with people's lives one thinks government should be. Socialists want a nanny state. Libertarians want to be left alone. How is that absurd?

What is interesting about the new gun laws for Virginia is that there may be heavy pushback now, but in a year everyone will just be telling Virginians to “Just move”. Just move and keep on moving anon. Every time any state in America gets bad, The main response i see is to “Just run” Why is that?
Senator Saddam Azlan Salim@SalimForVA

.@GovernorVA's signing of SB749 marks a monumental victory for public safety in the Commonwealth of Virginia, banning the sale, manufacture, and transfer of assault firearms and large capacity magazines effective July 1, 2026.

@BjorkBrodern You would think in England, where historically the tribe lived who called themselves the Knifers, believed they were divinely ordained by Woden to carry the Seax/knife at all times, and citizenship rested on being armed (participation in tings)the natives would have the exemption

Where are all the old-school Earth First types? Why is nobody out there pulling up survey stakes, chaining themselves to bulldozers and such? For those who don't know, NYS started a thing called "ORES," or "Office of Renewable Energy Siting," which bypasses all local control and lets any developer come in and build a 2MW+ solar project ANYWHERE. Local governments and agencies have zero recourse -- ORES can decide what's allowed and where, period. It's essentially a Soviet-style central planning system. Apparently, they're even able to bypass the Adirondack Park Agency, thereby flouting article 14 of the NYS Constitution (the "forever wild" amendment). They're 100% violating the constitution of the state of New York here in the Adirondack Park and are, I guess, just assuming they'll deal with the lawsuits later -- after the developers cash their checks. When these sons of bitches are coming even for the Adirondacks, we have a massive problem. NYS is a hellscape on a level most cannot comprehend. This is a dress rehearsal for what is coming down the pike for the rest of the USA, mark my words. It's a David and Goliath situation.
katie wright@katiewr31413491

This makes me sick. This is the gorgeous Saranac Lake region in Adirondacks. NY is literally cutting down a forest for these hideous solar panels. 🔥🔥🔥 Responsible: @NYSDEC #MichelleMarchello @Bobby4Brooklyn @NYSenPeteHarckham @NYSenMichelleHinchey #PedroAzagra #MelinaAcevedo

@RizomaSchool Contracting with thousands of landowners would be a royal headache, as would maintaining the infrastructure for thousands of separate panel arrays instead of one integrated facility. So, yes, I guess so. But it still might be more environmentally friendly than modern agriculture.

So these solar arrays on prime farm or conservation land is just because it's easier than contracting with thousands of private owners in putting panels over the already built environment, right? Instead the company can just buy a large tract of prime land and litter it with concrete, metal, wiring and plastic?

@FoMaHun And here lies the explanation for the existence of the Sahara desert: they burned the lush forests to get ash to build the pyramids 😂. Seriously though, interesting experiments you’re doing there.

And this? This is the very first piece of artificial limestone, YES, CaCO3, YES, hard as f and YES, waterproof, what I made from… Wood ash ONLY!!! 100% caveman tech! Now look at the color of this thing. How would you describe it? May I say it has the color of the pyramids? Hell yeah! Why? BTW: this is just the binder. Add original, natural limestone and fossils and you’ll en up with “natural” limestone. (With a bit of potassium residue.) Any questions? The secret recipe maybe? Anyone interested? Here you go: 1. Burn 🔥 everything around you and collect the wood ash 2. Burn natural limestone (calcination) to produce quick lime Steps 1. and 2. can be combined into one step. 3. Make wood ash lye the traditional way, by dripping drip 💧 water on wood ash and collecting the water that went through the ash. Any vessel will do but an oak barrel is the traditional way doing it. I used a plastic bucket with holes at the bottom. The wood ash lye is mostly KOH and K2CO3. What we need is CaCO3. We need to change the letter K to letters Ca. We’ll do it by adding the letters Ca to the liquid. 4. Add quick lime (CaO) or hydrated lime, slaked lime (Ca(OH)2) to the lye until it stops bubbling in vinegar. (We badly miss a decent video at this point, Marcell!!!) 5. Add (or don’t add) fossils = natural limestone rubble to the mix, stir well 6. Get rid of of the excess liquid through a nub Now any expert can tell you that this will never make a stone because of two reasons: 1. Billions of years and 2. High pressure are needed Well, no. The first point is just total nonsense, and although the second has something in it, it is false. Virtually ANY pressure will make it, including my current technique of squeezing it in a kitchen cloth. I’m not kidding. No pressure- no stone, that is correct. But only a minimal level of pressure, using my bare hands is enough to push the freshly made CaCO3 molecules close enough for crystallization (calcit) to begin. And here we are.

@MarkWin1432 @nxt888 Perhaps, but the way it’s worded leaves me wondering. Saying they used the buffalo jumps ‘before the return of the horse’ seems to imply it was a method developed after the horses disappeared. That when the horse returned, the Blackfoot readopted them. Just my interpretation.

The method is called a buffalo jump. It works like this: runners on foot position themselves along drive lanes marked by stone cairns stretching for kilometers. They herd the bison toward a cliff. The bison go over. The community processes the meat below. No horses. No Europeans. Just ten thousand years of sophisticated, community-organized, highly effective bison hunting by the people you just claimed never hunted bison without horses. The stone cairns are still there. You can visit them.
