Campaigner who hates what the Tories are doing to the country and its most vulnerable people. I was born in England so it's no use telling me to go home!

It was Netanyahu who started this war that has killed so many & put at risk the living standards of people across the world & it’s Netanyahu who is now undermining the ceasefire & chance of peace. Keir Starmer should lead & introduce sanctions against Israel immediately.

Trump official warns Pope Leo that US "has the military power to do whatever it wants—and that the Church had better take its side." Trump threatens world peace. US Congress does nothing. American-born Pope won't visit the US while Trump is president.al.com/politics/2026/…

There are only two problems with 'independent regulators' like Ofcom and Ofwat; they're not independent and they don't regulate

Jeremy Corbyn is recommending that UK ministers are investigated by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in light of government complicity and participation in Israel’s genocide in Gaza detailed in the Gaza Tribunal report. The report, released on Monday 16 April, found that the UK government has failed in every single legal obligation under treaty and international law, and has been complicit in atrocity crimes - in some instances even being an active participant. Corbyn told Novara Media: “Complicity demands consequences. In the aftermath of the Iraq War, governments escaped accountability for the role they played in catastrophic human suffering. This time, we must achieve real accountability and real justice for the Palestinian people.” Corbyn held the Gaza Tribunal in September last year to “uncover the full scale of British complicity in genocide” since October 2023, hearing testimony from witnesses, journalists and survivors, as well as a range of lawyers, whistleblowers and experts in international law. Corbyn said the report, which he authored along with international law experts Dr Shahd Hammouri and Prof Neve Gordon, will “help cement the government’s legacy as a participant in one of the greatest crimes of our time”. Recommendations from the report include that the British government should release full licensing and export data on military shipments to Israel to date, along with all legal advice on the government’s assessment of genocide and its obligations to prevent it. The report also calls for all surveillance footage collected by RAF spy flights over Gaza to be shared with the ICC and International Court of Justice (ICJ), and for the government to cooperate with a full, independent public inquiry into cooperation between the UK and Israel since October 2023, which has the power to question ministers and officials.

Keir Starmer, you have allowed my party, the party of Keir Hardie, Clem Attlee, Aneurin Bevan, Harold Wilson, Barbara Castle, Tony Benn to be dragged into the gutter by Mandelson, McSweeney, Simons & Labour Together. We need an independent inquiry into LT & its influence.

@Feargal_Sharkey Regulatory theater at its finest. Fines become an operating cost passed to the people they failed. Shareholders remain untouched. Accountability is a myth.

And there you have it, welcome to the water industry. South East Water get fined £22 million which I guarantee will never get paid and certainly not by the shareholders and meanwhile they've put up water bills by 7% which will generate £42 million this year alone.
SOS Whitstable@SOSWhitstable

"@sewateruk fined £22m for repeated supply failures" They’ve announced a 7% bill increase from April, adding roughly £42 million a year on top of what customers already pay. So, we'll pick up the tab for that. news.sky.com/story/south-ea…

@CraigMurrayOrg The problem isn't just one country or one leader, it's the whole system. The entire Western project is built on colonialism, genocide and endless war. The Western political class is a cult. They have become a machine that converts other people's suffering into its own comfort.

Over £10,000,000 of public money has been spent policing the proscription of Palestine Action. The Labour Party has spent £700,000 defending the ban in court - and will spend more appealing the ruling that it’s unlawful. That money could fund more than 3,500,000 free school meals. Instead it’s spent protecting arms manufacturers and criminalising people opposing Israel’s genocide. Shame on them.

Hey England, just like the Post Office and Grenfell scandals, you are being shafted. Your private water companies are criminals and your government are letting them rip you off and poison your seas and rivers. Surely you want some legal action and prosecutions don’t you?

Would be great if one consequence of the Labour Together scandal is not just the firing of ministers who've broken the rules, but a fresh look at public funding of politics to remove the influence of super-wealthy donors like Trevor Chinn and Waheed Alli

How did this man go from “lefty student” to authoritarian leader? And who funded Keir Starmer's rise to power? More whistleblowers have spoken out. The Starmer Files Pt. 2, published here tomorrow.
