Watching the man’s struggle to win the public’s trust has convinced me that a gun alone achieves nothing. It only carries weight when there’s at least some level of trust behind it. Grand strategy: if the public hates you more than anyone else, shift attention to people they slightly dislike, crucify them publicly , have influencers to amplify the narrative and make it appear like those people were the reason why you have been failing 😁.Repeat it enough times with different individuals. (Hide behind fighting corruption, hide, hide and hide)Anyway, I pray it works out, here following .💃🏽 Good day🫡.

The recent events are showing that there’s a difference between rented power and real power. Confusing the two can be problematic.

I witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and operational licence agreement between the Uganda Communications Commission and Starlink, marking an important step towards the commencement of their operations in Uganda. Our interest is security, revenue assurance, and proper accountability within the telecommunications sector so that we know who is operating and who the customers are. I am pleased that Starlink has agreed to comply with Uganda’s laws and regulatory requirements as it prepares to begin service delivery in the country. I wish them good luck.

The married man
The married man@marriedmn·
Ask almost any divorced woman why she left her husband, and you'll hear the same story. He drank, he cheated, he was abusive, always the exact same script. At some point, it starts sounding like every single person was escaping hell itself, and they tell it with so much self-pity that you almost feel bad for them, until you start asking uncomfortable questions. Okay, he drank, cheated, and treated you badly. But if he was really such a monster, then why did you marry him in the first place? Why did you have children with him? The answer is always predictable. He used to be caring, ambitious, athletic, supportive, and then he changed. But maybe the real question is, what broke him? How much pressure did you put on him before he escaped into alcohol? How much constant criticism and emotional immaturity did he deal with before silence became easier than explaining himself? You promised to stay through hard times, but the moment things got difficult, you left. Then you labeled it a toxic relationship. The truth is, he probably didn't become a monster overnight. It happened when he no longer had anywhere to put his pain. And if you spent years belittling him, comparing him to others, or humiliating him, don't hide behind the word victim.

Nobody talks about the man who had to start over from zero because a woman destroyed his life. He lost his peace, money, and years he can't get back while she just moves on with her life with no regards for the damage she caused. 💔😢

I don’t think people really understand that there is no coming back from certain things. Some damage does not get undone, and once it changes how you see someone, that’s it. Not everything deserves a second chance, no matter how sorry they are.

Some things are about basic common sense, not even political wisdom. Your bosses, who must be having a lot more, hardly display their wealth. Only those who have visited their homes know how their houses look like. It is 40 years now, but many of us have no idea how Museveni’s house looks like. Even when you search the internet, you hardly find one clear picture. They only show their local cows as their wealth. They move around in one colour of shirt all year, or only in military uniforms - not conspicuous designer clothes. We don’t know any private car of theirs. And you come in splashing posh cars, buildings, expensive designer clothes … Do you even think?
