Yep, and the grocery stores over here are hella expensive for the same items. Imagine if lawmakers would go to bat for Wards 7 and 8 like they do for developers. That'd be a better use of $1 billion that we're going to spend on (mostly luxury) housing in downtown abatements

A driver with $12,000 in unpaid camera tickets plowed head on into a rideshare vehicle and killed three people last week. @MayorBowser’s cameras aren’t keeping anyone safe AND they aren’t keeping dangerous drivers off the road. So, what are we even doing with 342 new cameras?

Per Vanessa Natale in @MayorBowser's office of legal counsel, Bowser first knew of allegations against Falcicchio the evening of March 8th; she ordered an investigation on March 9 after a full briefing. Natale says Bowser misspoke when stating that she first learned last week.
