£7.50 for a box of peas Dear @NandosUK Seven. Pounds. Fifty. For a Box. of. Peas My kids beg me to take them to Nando’s, but how on earth can you justify this? (I worked out below the actual cost) Yes I'm aware that pricing everywhere is increasing, but this seems like outrageous greed to me AND I realise I am moaning about 1. A box of peas. And 2. £7.50, but bear with me AND, it’s hard enough to get your kids to eat veg, and then you get hit in the face with £7.50 for a box of peas So the million dollar, hyper-inflation question is… Why does a box of peas add an extra £7.50 onto and already expensive family meal? A 900g frozen bag of peas is 99p from a supermarket. Nearly 4x the weight. You probably buy them in at wholesale price. What’s so amazing and haute-cuisine about these ‘macho’ peas I don't even care about £7.50. I care of the disgracefully overpriced ‘add on’ to what should be a staple part of a diet anyway Please, for the love of God, AND our children, sort out your pricing Please help encourage our kids to eat veg. I am sure WAY more people would bring their family if your prices were more fair Am I the only one noticing this?
