It’s way more fulfilling to be a training person than a gun person. I spent years buying crazy stuff when I got into guns… retro rifles, weird optics, old lasers, competition-specific upgrades, guns and more guns - then created thousands of videos using said products. But the thing that always brought me back to the range wasn’t plinking with something new, but pushing myself to be better with a firearm. Working on my grip. Focusing on where I look. Placing the dot constantly on specific parts of the target. Building positions efficiently. Entering and exiting shooting areas with minimal waste. Shooting more and more aggressively at distance. Smashing partials at 25 without riding the safe zones. While equipment selling and guidance is needed for people getting into the space, my objective will always be to promote training and skills over mindless consumerism.
