@dcuworld Sounds good, but I wish the solicitations people would stop writing ‘Maiden of Might’, it’s ‘maid’. May as well call Superman the Human of Steel

DCU Updates@dcuworld·
DC has announced Summer of Supergirl: Special #1 releasing on June 24! "In the lead story by Sophie Campbell and Belén Ortega, the quiet town of Midvale is shaken when Supergirl comes face-to-face with the galactic bounty hunter Lobo. Can the Maiden of Might stand up to the Main Man? DC’s Summer of Supergirl Special also features two bonus stories—one by Mark Waid and Cian Tormey, and another by Gail Simone and Emma Kubert—each celebrating Supergirl as she resumes her rightful place as the Heir to El". House Judiciary GOP 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
It turns out interfering with elections is standard fare for the European Commission. Ahead of at least EIGHT elections across six European countries since 2023, the Commission met with platforms to pressure them to censor political speech in the days before the vote.

🚨The EU Censorship Files, Part II For more than a year, the Committee has been warning that European censorship laws threaten U.S. free speech online. Now, we have proof: Big Tech is censoring Americans’ speech in the U.S., including true information, to comply with Europe’s far-reaching Digital Services Act.

End this run and retcon it out! I thought he was trying to make us like Trinity! #KingOffWonderWoman #RetconTrinity

The New Firefly animated show writer Marc Guggenheim hates you: "If you voted for Trump... there’s nothing I can do for you... I marched against Vietnam... protested Bush I and Bush II, marched against Trump 1.0 and 2.0 and will only stop marching and protesting when the legs give out."

The reason it sucks so badly that leftist Disney writers are coopting Firefly is it’s an inherently right wing and Christian concept.

Here are the top 5 most ridiculous things USAID was apparently funding, based on the greatest hits from recent White House lists, DOGE exposures, and congressional call-outs. (Because nothing says "global development" like turning your tax dollars into avant-garde theater abroad.) 1. $50 million for condoms in Gaza Ah yes, priority number one in a war-torn region: making sure everyone has protection while dodging actual rockets. Because what every humanitarian crisis really needs is a bulk shipment of prophylactics. Priorities, people! 2. $1.5 million to push DEI in Serbian workplaces Serbia—famous for its cutting-edge corporate HR departments—was apparently crying out for mandatory diversity training sessions. Nothing builds regional stability like forcing Eastern European businesses to sit through another PowerPoint on microaggressions. Truly world-changing stuff. 3. $70,000 for a DEI musical in Ireland Forget economic aid or infrastructure; what Ireland desperately needed was a taxpayer-funded song-and-dance number about inclusion. Because when you think "Irish cultural export," you immediately picture a woke Broadway production, not, say, Guinness or potatoes. 4. $47,000 for a transgender opera in Colombia Opera is already expensive and niche—why not make it extra special by throwing in gender themes and American tax money? Clearly, the path to peace and prosperity in Latin America runs straight through avant-garde theater about transitioning. Encore! (Or maybe just… no core.) 5. $32,000 for a transgender comic book in Peru Because Peruvian kids were this close to solving all their social and mental health issues—they just needed a superhero who transitions mid-adventure. Move over Spider-Man; here comes the taxpayer-funded graphic novel that fixes everything. Groundbreaking. Literally comic relief for the budget. Honorable mention goes to the $20 million Iraqi Sesame Street reboot (because Big Bird is the key to Middle East stability) and various millions for transgender surgeries/hormones in Guatemala. But hey, at least we know where the money wasn't going—boring stuff like roads, clean water, or not funding things that make you go "wait, really?" Your tax dollars: hard at work entertaining the world, one absurd grant at a time. 😏

#1 - worry about your own country #2 - most of what Dodge did was "identify waste and fraud" but most has been refuted or nothing progressed past the "identifying" stage. At this point, it looks like Dodge has cost taxpayers more than they saved. #3 - worry about your own country

Leftie logic. The cuts are not cutting fraud they are killing people. It wasn’t fraud because there’s been no prosecutions. If there were prosecutions it would be political because there’s been no fraud. Oh and there’s been no cuts! But I hate the people doing the cuts and we should arrest them for killing the people that have died because of the nonexistent cuts and nonexistent fraud. Did I say it right? Oh and the impartial CNN says…

There was a time when this woman — a former CIA colleague of mine — would have unapologetically said “Brandon Shah was killed today by an Islamic terrorist…” She won’t say it now because she’s a Democrat politician. That’s how evil and depraved she and her party have become.
Governor Abigail Spanberger@GovernorVA

Lt. Col. Brandon Shah was killed today in his classroom at Old Dominion University. A devoted ROTC instructor, Lt. Col. Shah didn’t just lead a life of service to our country, he taught and led others to follow that path.
