@AutoPap Wouldn’t be equipped if it was illegal - lots of cars have this type of thing now. It’s not anywhere near self driving.

Found out during my 180 mile drive today that the Renault has a self drive mode. The car steers itself on the motorway 😧 Very unnerving and probably illegal to engage at the moment?

The @metpoliceuk comms team have been exceptional over the past few weeks. Factual, and robust responses to misinformation, swift clarification of operational facts, and public backing for officers. Professional, confident communication builds trust. More of this approach please.

@AutoInfatuation Group 1 are horrendous.

Yet another dealership Group 1 Automotive have failed, Land Rover King’s Lynn has now completed closed as of 30th April 2026. They’d struggled for a while but Group 1’s take over was the final nail in the coffin. They lost the ability to sell brand new JLR products and now are completely closed with god knows how many job losses 😞 Our closest Land Rover is technically Marshall’s of Peterborough (Around 24mi) but there are rumours that will also close this year. That then leaves Duckworth Land Rover of Spalding which is around 30mi away but admittedly every time I’ve dealt with them they’ve been great 👍 Group 1 also took over Mercedes-Benz of King’s Lynn. A dealership I used several times a year at one point as I had 3 MB’s in the household, when they were taken over their customer service became unbearably bad and I moved everything to Listers of Boston - again a few bit further but the Listers group have never let me down regardless of which brand I take to them.

Some devastating new to share with you, I’ve not mentioned it but my stepdad / dad has been fighting cancer for the last 8 months or so He lost that battle this morning He was a wonderful, kind man who made my mum and our family so happy and the world is worse without him

From day one to today, I don’t think I’ve ever left this car and not looked back at it. Stunning design by Mr Callum, incredible machine. Think this one’s a keeper.

10 days since I dropped the V300d down in London to be sorted out by the Dealer we purchased it from. Been trying to chase it up this week as I could do with it back obviously 😆 Had a very blunt email this evening asking me to call them in the morning…….what do we think? Good news you can come get it, bad news we can’t fix any of the electrical issues or Oh it’s been ready since Monday, did no one contact you? 🤔

@WellpaddedPaddy A couple of years ago I was (im an extra 25 mins further away). A few more years ago it was Sheffield to mira (Nuneaton) or Gaydon. That was a slog every day. Ive also lived in Warwick and Lighthorn Heath though, not completely nuts.

12 years ago I was driving these a bit too enthusiastically around Warwickshire as a test engineer getting them ready and signed off for the launch of the coupe. My first job out of uni. Life was good! They're heavy but as a road car brilliant fun. RWD V8 please. Great value
