New data shows the national GP bulk billing rate was 81.9% for the January to March quarter.
That’s a 4.6% point increase on the same period last year.
There are now OVER 3,800 Medicare bulk billing practices.
This means that almost 97% of the population are now within a 20-minute drive of a bulk billing practice.
Labor is strengthening Medicare, protecting Australians and delivering on our commitment.

BREAKING: New numbers from the ABS show that inflation moderated in April by more than expected.
Headline inflation was 4.2% in the 12 months to April 2026, down from 4.6% in March.
This was better than the median expectation of the market.
While this tick down in inflation is welcome, it remains much higher than we’d like and that’s why it’s a big focus for the government.

Testarossa, 1984 — »Stranske škrge so kot strojček za testenine.« Danes ikona desetletja. Enzo, 2002 — »To ni več Ferrari.« Danes njegova cena presega štiri milijone. Najdražje viskije destilirajo tako, da večina reče: »Hm, malo nenavadno.« Točno to je bistvo.
Kupec luksuza ne išče lepote. Išče drugačnost. Od soseda, od kolega, od povprečnega bogataša z Bavarske, ki vozi enak SUV kot vsak zobozdravnik v Münchnu. Medtem ko Mercedes elektrificira razred S in se pretvarja, da je revolucionaren, BMW dela iX, ki je videti kot ledvica, obdelana z brusnim papirjem. Audi izdeluje e-tron Q-karkoli-že, ki ga še lastnik ne loči na parkirišču pred Hoferjem. Vsi prodajajo podobnost.
Ferrari prodaja drugačnost. Šokantna karoserija ni napaka — je strategija. Bolj ko avto razdvaja, dlje preživi v kolektivnem spominu. Dlje ko preživi, dražji je čez dvajset let. Ferrari ne prodaja prevoznih sredstev — prodaja avtomobile, ki v dveh desetletjih svojega lastnika naredijo še bogatejšega.
Tako da: vsi tisti, ki ta teden razlagate, da je Luce grd, čuden in nemogoč — imate čisto prav. Točno to je. In točno zato bo zmagal. Kupca luksuza ste pač narobe razumeli. On ne kupuje lepote. Kupuje dejstvo, da je drugačen. In za to bo plačal pol milijona evrov. Z veseljem.
