She says to Fox News that she’s saved $3-4,000 dollars. When she was standing with Donald Trump, she said she saved $11,000 dollars. Which is it?

KERNEN: We'd never be able to send anyone back if you needed a judicial warrant every single time RAND PAUL: Well, I don't think that's true. Obeying the 4th Amendment of the Constitution shouldn't be too difficult. It's something we fought the revolution over.

There’s a major policy fight happening in Albany right now over proposed changes to New York’s auto insurance laws. We need to support reforms that lower fraud and cost without diminishing the rights of injured New Yorkers. Let’s get it right. law.com/newyorklawjour…

You've heard about @GovKathyHochul's attempt to lower insurance costs by making it harder for some crash victims to get proper compensation for their injuries (AKA: the driver-protection plan), but OLD MAN VERTICAL is on the case: youtu.be/_SPwAKhEHlg

Really? Is it? Well, there’s always something widely offensive to someone. I’ve been called some choice things in my time. My goodness, if I let it, I’d probably have been offended the last 25 years or so. I really didn’t know, and at the moment, wouldn’t have cared if I did. You really have me set to writing right now Malt! So here we go. Those of us offended by this meme have a point—but it’s just showing everyone where his head and maybe where his heart is at. A lot of people have prayed for him, and I’m willing to believe he’s entitled to grace as we all hope we are, but that’s a lesson God will have to teach him and us at the same time. Unforced errors are usually the most telling. Doesn’t mean we don’t pray for him. What it does tell me is very few, if any, people love him enough to confront him with the truth. All that said, what you’re about to read next if you choose to will let you know I’m a far cry from the Divine. You know what’s offensive? When scores of Christians and Catholics are sold and murdered regardless of sex or age and no one, even some of those papists we mentioned, seem to give a fig—even worse when it happens at the hands of that church. It’s even more infuriating than the usual suspects. When the same church that ushered Nazis out of Germany’s ratlines ushered in millions of illegals into my country that set to wreak havoc and will continue to cost millions for years to come—all the while friends of mine are still doing it the right way. I could go on, but I’ll stop. So when someone is offended because of something egregious, I understand. But if someone is widely offended over a name used in a TV show no less, forgive me or don’t, but I couldn’t care less. Maybe one day the selective outrage will be selected towards the correct enemy who has weaseled his way inside and out. God help me, I’m afraid I’m running out of cheeks to offer—even still, I have yet to buy my plane ticket. So as you can see from this novel of a post, there is room for offense, grace, anger, and forgiveness. What’s interesting is when one holds firm to their hypocrisy going only so far, it’s then one is confronted with the fact that it probably knows no bounds.

Is there anyone else here, besides me, who has always supported President Donald Trump 🇺🇸 but is now seriously struggling because enough is enough? The Pope is the Vicar of Christ on Earth, seated on the throne of Saint Peter And the Throne of Peter is not to be touched ✝️

Beyond that though, great word right!? To be a follower of the pope, one was referred to as a “papist”. Idk I dig it. Anyway, I don’t mean to make light of the meme, it is a bit over the top, but it dominated the news. I think it has to do with shock and controlling the news cycle. Just a thought.

You are a true believer. Blessings of the state. Blessings of the masses. Thou art a subject of the divine, created in the image of man, by the masses, for the masses. Let us be thankful we have an occupation to fill. Work hard, increase production, prevent accidents, and be happy. Let us be thankful we have commerce. Buy more. Buy more now. Buy more and be happy.

Comparative negligence means fault can be shared. Even if the insurance company claims Brittany is partly responsible for being in the street — she can still recover damages.

Under pure comparative negligence (New York law today): You can recover damages. If you are 30% at fault, you still recover 70%. If you are 60% at fault, you still recover 40%.

Why does that matter? Because crashes are rarely 100–0. Drivers speed. Roads are unsafe. Pure comparative negligence recognizes that reality.

Big Insurers and Gov. Hochul are proposing a change: modified comparative negligence. Under this system, what happens to someone like Brittany?

Insurance companies will argue she was “mostly at fault” — because she was in the street. The defendant's insurer is more likely to deny the claim in hopes of driving up negligence at trial. Even if a driver was speeding and using their phone. Even if the harm was catastrophic.

If the insurer crosses that 50% line: Brittany's family gets zero. No help for her care. No support for her children.

That’s the difference: Pure comparative negligence: partial responsibility = partial recovery Modified comparative negligence: partial responsibility can mean no recovery at all
