Imo State youths shut down the city as they troop out in large numbers to welcome Seyi Tinubu and Cubana Chiefpriest, loudly hailing Seyi Tinubu on arrival.
I've been offline since i made this tweet in the morning and i just came here now to see the comment section and the quotes. I made an honest mistake of the generating capacity of the power plant here in Redemption city and i sincerely apologize for that. The accurate generating capacity is 25MW as opposed to the initial capacity of 3-4000 i earlier put out. I'm sorry for the misleading figure. That wasn't my intention.
However, it still doesn't take away the fact that the national grid is a total embarrassment. If an independent community could generate 25MW and the nation's primary source of power is struggling between the range of 2-3MW to cater to the population of 200M+ people, isn't that a shame?
Redemption City alone- 25MW generating capacity.
Nigeria of 200M+ people- Struggling with 2-3MW.
@NationalGridNg, you should be ashamed. Tell your principals that they're a bunch of failures. Over 60years of independence and you're still struggling to generate 3MW of electricity?
@IkejaElectric You guys are the most useless set of entities I’ve seen like idk why you’re alive and functioning because you e are students and we stay around Akoka and bariga you guys should fucking behave and stop fucking peoples life up assholes
Dear Valued Customer,
You are invited to join our February Virtual Stakeholder Engagement to explore practical strategies for preventing vandalism, strengthening community collaboration, and safeguarding infrastructure to ensure safer communities.
Vandalism of electricity infrastructure poses a serious risk to community safety, stability, and economic growth. When left unaddressed, such activities can escalate into broader security concerns that hinder sustainable development and reliable service delivery.
