“2012: Goodluck Jonathan was PRESIDENT with full powers. He announced subsidy removal but lacked the courage to stand firm amid protests. Reversed it. Tinubu was an ordinary citizen & opposition voice, not the one in Aso Rock. 2023/2026: President Tinubu faced the same pressure but showed LEADERSHIP. Removed it decisively. No retreat. True leaders do what’s best for Nigeria’s future, not what’s popular today. Jonathan blinked. Tinubu delivered. Painful but necessary surgery. #TinubuDelivers

Many people stay silent out of fear of attacks. But no matter who you support, speak up BOLDLY. Don’t let bullies silence you over political differences. Insult is the refuge of the unintelligent. Abuse is the comfort of the civil misfit. — @LegendaryJoe If Peter Obi were truly worthy of the position, his supporters wouldn’t need to bully or attack differing opinions. The lack of strong records often pushes them to insults instead of ideas. Support your candidate openly. Post it everywhere. It is your right and no one has the power to stop YOU. As for me, I will vote and campaign for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Jagaban) and do my part to support his re-election in 2027, in sha Allah because it’s my civil right. It’s your right, don’t let anyone silence You.

I don't think Peter Obi is a real Human Being. But if they check and he is, then he definitely is not a Nigerian. His father has questions to answer. 1. Peter Obi rejected #700m monthly pension as Ex Governor. 2. Peter Obi rejected lands given to Ex Governors as part of their entitlements. 3. Peter Obi rejected #500m House & Furniture Allowance as Chairman of Security & Exchange Commission, SEC, Abuja 2015. 4. Peter Obi rejected $1m dollars as prize money for being the First & Best Governor to achieve the 2020 Millennium Development Goals, MDGs. 5. Peter Obi rejected the offer of an Oil Well, one of the reasons Nigerian Politicians k!ll to attain Abuja Status. 6. Peter Obi rejected the allocation of millions of naira for the set up of office of the First Lady. Insisting that his wife was not an elected official. 7. Peter Obi rejected the proposal to share the State annual budget on percentage with the State House of Assembly leading to his first unlawful impeachment. 8. Peter Obi handed over about #75bn in cash & assets after 8yrs as Governor, rejecting to convert it to personal use like other Governors did. This man has conquered man's most natural, intense & vicious appetite...Greed. I want someone to prove just one of these statements to be false. Peter Obi is the Man

DUBAI WAS BUILT ON DEBT — NOT MAGIC. NIGERIANS NEED TO UNDERSTAND THIS. Please SHARE this post. Counter the noise and propaganda. When people point at Dubai today, they see skyscrapers, luxury, and global influence. What they don’t see is the decades of strategic borrowing, risk-taking, and painful decisions that built it. Let’s talk In the 1950s and 60s, Dubai was a poor desert trading post, heavily dependent on fishing and pearling. When oil was discovered in 1966, reserves were actually very limited compared to neighbors like Abu Dhabi. That’s when Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum made a bold decision: Borrow heavily to build infrastructure BEFORE wealth arrived. He took loans to finance: - Port Rashid (1972) - Jebel Ali Port (1979) — now one of the largest ports in the world. - Dubai World Trade Centre (1979) At the time, many critics called it reckless. Why build massive infrastructure with money you don’t yet have? But Rashid understood something powerful: “Build it, and the economy will come.” Fast forward to the 2000s under Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum: Dubai doubled down on debt-funded expansion: - Emirates Airline expansion - Palm Islands - Burj Khalifa By 2009, Dubai faced a debt crisis of about $80 billion. Yes — $80 BILLION. They had to be bailed out by Abu Dhabi. Yet today? Dubai is: A global logistics hub A tourism powerhouse A financial center One of the most visited cities in the world. NOW LET’S BRING IT HOME When President Bola Ahmed Tinubu borrows to fund infrastructure, many Nigerians shout: “Why are we borrowing?!” But here’s the truth: Borrowing is not the problem. Misuse is. Every serious economy in the world has used debt to grow: United States — over $30 trillion debt . China — massive infrastructure debt model. Japan — over 200% debt-to-GDP. Debt becomes dangerous only when: It is stolen It is wasted on consumption It doesn’t create productivity But when used for: Roads Railways Power Ports Industrial zones It becomes a tool for national transformation. THE REAL ISSUE NIGERIANS SHOULD FOCUS ON? Not just “borrowing” — but: What exactly are we borrowing for? Are projects completed? Are they generating economic value? Are states using increased allocations wisely? Because here’s another fact: Since subsidy removal, states are receiving significantly higher FAAC allocations — yet many are not translating that into visible development. I Maximillian Chisom Ugoji hereby submit to you 😂 that (make I pretend to be a lawyer small), Dubai didn’t become Dubai by playing safe. It took: Vision Debt Risk Discipline Nigeria cannot develop on: Fear Sentiment Political shouting Everything no be politics o. We must demand accountability, not reject strategy. Because the truth is simple: No nation builds world-class infrastructure without borrowing. NONE. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is borrowing to build infrastructure and I support him with my full chest. Please SHARE this post. Ugoji Maximillian

WHY IS TINUBU BORROWING? I AM GOING TO BE VERY BLUNT HERE. Please I beg you, this post is very important. SHARE it. President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu came to the Senate yet again seeking to borrow the sum of $516M . The purpose is to finance the finishing of the Sokoto-Badagry highway. And to this ,the Senate President says, "It Is Better To Borrow For Projects To Improve Road Safety And Foster National Integration" — Senate President, Akpabio I have received several calls from friends who say "You see am? Tinubu is borrowing again." Then I ask, what's it with you people and his borrowing again? I believe you don't know, now I want to answer you on why previous administrations borrowed and why he's borrowing. Let me break it down to the layman's understanding. Have you ever borrowed money before ? Either from your friends, micro finance banks or those online Apps that give many sleepless nights?🤣 I assume the answer it YES? So why did you borrow? Perhaps you needed to start a small business or increase your business or you're on a project ? So why did you borrow to execute the project? The answer is simple. Your productive capacity is not enough to produce the money you need to finance your projects. Now imagine that you're a guy who inherited ten plots of land. Before now a plot there was selling for just one million. Then suddenly a maga company came there and built a factory and a federal university moved in there too. The value quickly shot to 30M per plot. 10 plots will be N300 M. You sold all of them and you were swimming in Money. Then you made no further investments with the money. You squandered the money. And before one year you were back to square one. So if you're going to survive, manage to start a business, send your kids to school, feed, and finance your other needs , what will be your option? Miracles? No. You'll borrow. Let's say you've learnt your lessons, borrowing is not a bad thing as long as you're using the money to invest in things that will generate profit and enabling you pay back. And in five years, you could become a successful businessman again. So this is the case with Nigeria. Previous administrations squandered golden opportunities for Nigeria to prosper. Jonathan administration especially enjoyed oil boom and earned $300 billion. That was our opportunity to industrialize and blow up , but the money ended up in private bank accounts. We're borrowing $516 M now , but Jonathan's petroleum minister , Diezani Madueke-Allison alone disappeared $20 billion. Till today that money can't be found. From my post last night you could see testimonies from Central bank Governors Soludo and Sanusi plus Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala saying that, "Whoever would takeover from Jonathan in 2015 would suffer because he will have no money to run government." Remember, all these three served in that government and they had this testimony about it? Let me tell you, whoever tells you that if he becomes Nigeria's president today he won't borrow, that person is not being honest. What miracle is he going to do? If you don't have money , how are you going to finance projects? Unless he's going to do what Peter Obi did in Anambra - keep money in the bank and do no major transformational projects. Play baba Ijebu Economist. Is this what we want? You could see what Tinubu needs this money for? A major highway linking Lagos and Sokoto -northern business Axis. This road is linking products to customers. This is why I tell you to pay attention to every move Tinubu makes. See the sense in them. I tell you that this road will finance the repayment of that loan before the end of one year. The biggest road revolution in this country is this Badagry-Sokoto and Coastal road. They'll blow up Nigeria's economy greater than anything you've seen. I support Asiwaju with my full chest. A leader who makes moves that matter. Even when the moves are unpopular.

Read and judge for yourself. Doctors were on strike for a full 13 months without pay during Peter Obi’s tenure as governor. Do you know the painful part? The arrears for those 13 months have still not been paid to my senior and respected colleagues. I met a doctor who was a victim, and he said he has not recovered from the experience. He also mentioned that there were fewer than 10 doctors left in the employment of the Anambra State government by the time Obi was rounding up as governor. It was that bad. In fact, even before the strike, their salaries were being paid in installments, according to the victim. Now, let’s compare that with Tinubu’s record as governor—doctors did not go on strike for a single day. Even as president, when strikes occur, no one is victimized through withheld salaries. Be fair to me—if, as a doctor, I choose to support Tinubu based on these facts, am I still being biased or illogical? Is Obi truly who people claim he is? Should we believe he cares about the health sector based on these claims, simply because he supported some schools of nursing during his campaign?

Why do ibos think they can have a say in our political space in Yorubaland? Something that can never happen in their own region. Why are they such parasites on our land? And why are we allowing this? I don’t get it. Kí ló ń ṣẹlẹ̀ gan gan náà? By Nationalinsight The Association of Igbo Residents in Ibadan has declared its support for Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, while strongly criticising former Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose, over what it described as attempts to destabilise the state. Speaking at a press conference held on Saturday in Ibadan, the group, alongside supporters of the governor, expressed concern over recent political developments and statements allegedly linked to Fayose, which it said could threaten the peace and progress of Oyo State.

I’ve stayed away from saying this for a while because I didn’t want it to be reduced to “tribal talk.” But at some point, we have to be honest about what’s happening in our politics. During the years of Muhammadu Buhari, many Yoruba who supported him based on political alignment, not ethnicity, we were repeatedly insulted and branded “Fulani slaves.” We took it. We argued. We defended our choices. Fast forward to 2023. The Yoruba vote did not move as one block: Some supported Bola Ahmed Tinubu Some supported Atiku Abubakar Some supported Peter Obi In fact, the division was so real that: Tinubu lost Lagos to Obi Atiku took Osun Obi made historic gains right in the Southwest That is not tribal voting. That is democratic plurality. At the same time, the Southeast voted almost unanimously for one candidate. That’s their right, every region makes its political choices based on its interests. But here’s where the contradiction becomes impossible to ignore: The same people who loudly reduced others to “Fulani slaves” for 8 years are now quick to label Yoruba voters as “tribal bigots” simply for making different political choices. So what exactly is the standard? If voting your brother Peter Obi is acceptable for the Igbos, it must be acceptable for others too. You don’t get to moralize democracy only when it favors your side. Let’s be clear: Disagreeing politically is normal. Voting differently is normal. Even regional alignment is normal in a country like Nigeria. What is not normal and should not be normalized is weaponizing ethnic labels anytime people don’t vote the way you expect. Because the moment we reduce every political decision to tribe, we stop having a country and start having camps. And no one wins in that kind of setup. Selah. #deprofwrites #alarapewrites
