@Parker104 CDC Lima also very good variety, grew here for quite a few years. I think CDC Grimm has a little better disease package which usually translated into more bushels when I was growing both side by side.

@zeefarmer @pat_kunz Dealt with this problem several years ago and tried to get away with just diquat. Was a mistake. If greens want to be growing, that’s not enough to shut them down. I would apply gly followed by diquat if you can’t wait for gly to finish the job.

Question about some large green lentils. I'd put them around 2 weeks from dessicating. There is new growth that's flowering after 7" in the past 3 weeks. Does a guy spray with gly then diquat, just gly, just diquat, or?

@mattgreensheave @RGEINC The condition information would be more useful overlaid with a map showing lentils as a percentage of crop acres in each area. Not convinced ‘good’ lentil crop condition in Meadow Lake will translate into bountiful SK provincial lentil harvest.

@JSeimes I am intrigued… haven’t heard of this before either and haven’t been looking forward to negotiating adjustment on mine because it is so early also.

Anyone ever tried one of the hail adjuster advocate guys that comes out and represents you when the adjusters are in your fields? Seems like it might be a good idea, get another set of eyes on it and have someone on your side.

#CDCGrimm Green lentil with flax #intercrop reasonable results considering the moisture stress from Big rain at end of June. Little more flax than normal as it turned into a pure flax stand where the lentils drowned out.

Anybody willing to #givepeasachance in their 2025 rotation, I would strongly recommend #CDCCitrine. Impressive yield and quality considering the wringer they’ve been through this season!

@ProfAgronomy @agbiousask Excellent initiative, looking forward to using it regularly. At a glance a small discrepancy on seasonal rainfall from April 1. App showed 7.3” and I’ve measured closer to 8.5” by physical gauge in same period. Must concede I am not super scientific with my measurements, though!
