@Masterpics_3D Laser 3D glass fracturing can’t make things darker than the background, e.g. his shirt. This is a photo run through a grayscale filter and post edited over a plain block of glass. You are liars.

@HazelAppleyard He’s not wrong though. You’re thinking ahead to get the hard part done now, and avoid backing into an active lane.

@WilburJaywright @LundukeJournal OpenRC far more common, documented, supported, and feature rich. Most likely to survive dev turnover, in my opinion.

CachyOS, a “Performance-First Linux, Built on Arch”, has made a rather peculiar statement in regard to possible Age Verification in their Linux distro.
The CachyOS stance appears to be that they are “not doing anything” about Age Verification… but if you disagree with Age Verification you should “find another distribution”.
At the same time, anti-Age Verification posts have been officially declared “radical” and will result in censorship and banning from CachyOS.
The statement:
“CachyOS is not located in areas where this is a thing
CachyOS is not doing anything in regards to this
CachyOS uses SystemD
If you don’t want to use SystemD find another distribution
STOP asking about these two things
STOP attacking people about these two things
STOP being radical about these two things”
The CachyOS developer has been actively deleting posts where people ask about, or express opinions against, Age Verification.
“If I personally see radical postings relating to these two things I won’t bother to just waste time removing the post
I will remove you, you are not contributing anything of use here”
Even simple, non abrasive questions, such as “Is CachyOS going to implement Age Verification” are getting locked and censored.

@Guile_Phoenix_ @LundukeJournal Isn’t the definition of it being convenient… not having a problem?? 😶
English

@LundukeJournal I was using CachyOS, but now I'm going to switch distributions. I have no problem switching when it's convenient

@SamStrongTalks @Strangeland_Elf My theory is it’s laundering. I mean, isn’t that already going on the private sector? Nobody actually likes these, it’s just a cover story for the cheque.
English

@WilburJaywright @Strangeland_Elf Not familiar with this particular "art" installations. A lot of governments pay for similarly meaningless installations on public property all the time, but no idea on the specifics for this one.
English

It really was an improvement, though, they should be paying her.

A woman has been fined $1,400 after pleading guilty to gluing googly eyes onto an $88,000 sculpture nicknamed the "Blue Blob"
English

@SamStrongTalks @Strangeland_Elf Or were they paying for it?
Did the money really go to the “artist” specifically for this creation?
I smell a Hunter-Biden-esque painting sale going on…
English

@Strangeland_Elf "Art"
If someone wants to make a blue blob and call it art, more power to them, but the government shouldn't be paying for it.
English

@Strangeland_Elf Let alone that her adding googly eyes made it 100 times more entertaining and at best before it was mildly abstract and funny

@windscribecom @ProtonVPN I understood Proton’s post, I don’t quite understand yours. Also, using the same text format for the same topic isn’t exactly plagiarism.

@TheAliceSmith It may seem illogical at first, but once you take a full set of courses from @QualityLearing_ , it will make sense.
