@downthebyline The body language shows. These guys don’t look very excited with how the team is put together. We get flashes, but that’s about it. They need a new, fresh outlook on how to get them back to playing winning soccer.

It's not helped when even the young players you were hopeful for heading into this season, like Davis, Pulskamp, Bartlett, etc. haven't progressed like you'd probably want.

This season has been a slog. And even though I know there's work behind the scenes on getting a new CSO, the outward "treading water" position that #SportingKC has been in this year doesn't help and doesn't create much to get excited about.

@downthebyline And that wasn't the side of the defense I was most worried about. Munoz/Leibold is a dodgy defensive combination too.

The Shelton/Shapi right side is not having a good start...

@downthebyline John doesn’t use the end line as a defender. He has to go left to defend that.

@WillCam13 Whether they do change or not, this is a lost season, this is all about building to the winter when a bunch of the roster is out of contract and there's a ton of roster space to work with.

One of my big issues with KZ as coach. He's done a good job of adjusting at half time and in game, but he gets the starting XI/starting tactics wrong too much for me. #SportingKC
