Arguing in favor of AB 2600—which would create a new taxpayer-funded right to a lawyer for anyone facing deportation—Assemblymember Mia Bonta made claims like: “Over 88,250 Californians were deported in the first nine months of 2025.” But of course, “Californians” aren’t being deported. Why should actual California taxpayers be forced to pay for lawyers to help illegal aliens—including violent criminals, as @KateSanchezCA highlighted during the hearing—remain in the country? Bonta is a Yale Law School graduate and knows perfectly well this isn’t about “due process.” Our state is falling apart, and this is what we prioritize spending our money on? Make it make sense!

Just read this on fb by David Harris. Why would they halt the investigation? California sheriff who seized ballots has been ordered by CA Supreme Court to HALT election fraud investigation. On April 8, 2026, the California Supreme Court ordered Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco (the man in the image, identifiable by his name tag and sheriff's badge) to pause his investigation into alleged fraud in the November 2025 special election (related to Proposition 50 on redistricting) and to preserve all seized items, including the ballots.

California Democrats created this disaster with their environmental regulations, their taxes on fuel, their mandates on refineries, and their war on American energy. They passed law after law designed to punish oil companies and make gas more expensive - and then acted shocked when gas became more expensive. My wife had a months-long affair with someone from work. I found out by accident, not through honesty. Yesterday I decided not to forgive her. I asked for a divorce without negotiation. Her family says I should try, that “we all make mistakes.” What they don't say is that some mistakes are repeated for months with full awareness. I'm not going to rebuild something that was broken by long-standing decisions. Love also has dignity.
