As we welcome a new leader of our party I just want to add my thanks to the last. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting @RishiSunak on many occasions from when he was a Minister in Local Government and quickly climbed through the ranks to the Treasury and then to become our Party Leader and Prime Minister. As Chancellor his steady management of the economy during the COVID pandemic helped to protect many businesses and jobs. He often faced fierce criticism, mainly from within his own party, but was always someone who was laser focused on delivering for the British people. He warned us about Liz Truss - he was right. He warned us about the high tax Labour Party - he was right. Being Prime Minister is no doubt a tough and lonely job but he has been a dedicated public servant who cares deeply about his country. So, thank you Rishi and I wish you and your family the very best for the future. #ThanksRishi

@KateShirazi @villa_north In the 1920s they lifted it and re-laid it exactly as it was but set in concrete to stop people nicking bits of it. I guess the lines were part of that process but also help to visualise what the complete mosaic would have been like.
