@Jesper_Simoni @Czooba That's a red today but it wasn't (at all) in 2013.
Back then this was (just about) a foul only.
English

Of course it’s a straight red card. Even as a United fan, I can see that he stamps on the Real Madrid player in the stomach area. It’s completely irrelevant whether he knew he was there or not. If you raise your leg to that height, you have to accept the consequences. A stamp to the stomach has always been a red card. It was here as well…
English

Commentator: what an awful decision by the referee.
The night Man United was robbed at Old Trafford. That was never a red card yet Nani was sent off!
Oluchi_react@Oluchi_Utd
What’s the most painful red card you’ve ever seen in football?
English

@HarryTapir @EPLBible Nah i don't think it was. That still image makes it look 1000x worse than it was. He got the ball on the ground and this image is right at the end showing where he followed through once most of the force had already gone out of the tackle.
English

@premierleague The match was ruined by the incompetence of the officials (VAR included). Would have been a good game if they'd done their job.
English

@mpmarky @DaleJohnsonBBC Who incidentally was Craig Pawson, who's just about a incompetent as Stuart Atwell.
English

@DaleJohnsonBBC Atwell would have given that as a penalty if he hadn't already given one to United, but he well knows that he would never have heard the end of it if he'd given two penalties to United, so he copped out, as Refs often do, and left the decision to VAR.
English

But he literally can.
They are subjective situations and it's entirely possible to think one is a penalty and the other is not.
Aaron Williams@Brownplaydo1984
@DaleJohnsonBBC End of the day the Ref can't say it wasn't a penalty at one end but is at the other end both are pens end of but at 2-0 if United get the penalty they should of it's game over
English

Every single one of these is a foul

This is where the dirty tactics from set pieces first began...

@eurofootcom @Joshy_G18 @BBCSport Am I the only one who thinks R9 wasn’t actually that good compared to the modern day centre forwards ? I mean I’d take Harry Kane over him all day every day
English

🏴🗞️ @BBCSport named their top 10 centre forwards of the 21st century...
1) Ronaldo Nazario🇧🇷
2) Harry Kane🏴
3) Erling Haaland🇳🇴
4) Thierry Henry🇫🇷
5) Robert Lewandowski🇵🇱
6) Didier Drogba🇨🇮
7) Karim Benzema🇫🇷
8) Zlatan Ibrahimović🇸🇪
9) Luis Suarez🇺🇾
10) Miroslav Klose🇩🇪

@DaleJohnsonBBC Just blow for a foul at every corner for a while. It's honestly not hard to find one (or seven).

How can football fix the corner chaos?

▪️ Refs or players/coaches to blame?
▪️ What managers have been saying
▪️ Set-piece goals highest in PL
▪️ Potential solutions / law changes

@MiguelDelaney @AtotheX01 Totally valid commentary of the Qatar world cup and what a lot of us were thinking at the time also.
Calling that racist is a lazy and dangerous argument and diminishes the argument against 'actual' racism.
English

I cant stand this racist, but he has a point. Margins has taken over this man
Miguel Delaney@MiguelDelaney
Arteta is obsessed with increasing "probability" in everything. It's how he sees management and has revived Arsenal But in going so far down that approach, and changing, Arsenal are now reducing their strong chance of winning the title independent.co.uk/sport/football…
English

@MiguelDelaney @AtotheX01 I've seen no evidence at all that Miguel is racist. Unless you have (and I suspect you haven't), you should retract that.
English

@MrStephenHowson Most of the teams 90+ points aren't that amazing. Certainly recent examples.
They had a lot of cannon fodder to play.
Also squad size/quality depth is much bigger now so a few injuries has much less impact on the teams at the top than years ago.
English

@O2_hubhelp9 You corrected it after I had to jump through hoops with the ombudsman. Still despite the negative credit markers being removed, my rating hasn't recovered nearly a year on. No offence but I have no wish to deal with O2 anymore.

Absolutely sick of threats and harassment from @O2 about a bill that is physically impossible to pay online. Contract was up last year but you are still hounding me because you reconnected after we went into your store and phones for hours to say we did not want it.

English

@CliveinEngland @O2 I'd recommend the ombudsman. They made O2 correct the error and remove the negative marks on my credit. Only problem is you have to go through the O2 complaint process first and then wait for them to ignore you before you can escalate.
English

@WillWaight @O2 My contract was up in October but they still kept billing me. I went to the shop to complain. We were on the phone to customer service when they reconnected me and sent me a £25 bill while I was sat there. I see no alternative but to take legal action against them.
