Apple really needs to make a Magic Trackpad with built-in Touch ID for those of us that don't want to use Apple's horrid Magic Keyboard.

Really not understanding the issue with the Mac Mini power button on the bottom. How often are you people shutting down your Macs?

While we're all talking about the power button on the bottom of the new Mac mini… Remember when Apple's laptops had a button on the bottom? It was the battery indicator button. In 2008, Apple moved it to the side of the laptop—easier to access.

@WilliMetru @thecomputerclan They weren’t really hot swappable, I’d say they’re more so “user serviceable” The old batteries were intended so that you could carry multiple and see how charged each one was. These were more so intended for easy replacement rather then keeping a few in your bag.

@thecomputerclan i think apple expects you to never turn off your mini. and if the powerdraw in sleep is the same as when it's off, you don't need to

@AnxiousHolly In the dark times of 2020 not most remember, I, the biggest Android supporter, had an iPhone. On which, iMessage and FaceTime were off. Why? So people don't reach me on stupid Apple ecosystem propaganda.

@sondesix iOS goes out of date sooner. You can use Android 10 from 2019 without issues, you can't use iOS 13 without issues. By issues, I mean program updates

Apple is silently giving its 6-year-old phones the iOS 18 update. Android brands, be more like Apple.
