Giants want Jeremiyah Love bad. They don’t think he’s going to be there. Plan B? Caleb Downs maybe a small trade down? Let’s see how the draft plays out on Wednesday. It’s going to be a great day and active day!

Been saying it for months. If Jeremiyah Love is there at 5, can't see John Harbaugh and the Giants passing on the draft's top skill position player and playmaker. #Giants #NFLDraft #NotreDame

Brian Burns at $28.2M/year is an absolute steal. Joe Schoen's best move to date is that sign/trade. Made possible by trading Leonard Williams. #Giants
Ari Meirov@MySportsUpdate

BREAKING: The #Texans and All-Pro DE Will Anderson Jr. have agreed to a contract extension that makes him the highest paid non-QB in football, surpassing Micah Parsons. It's a 3-year, $150M extension with $100M fully guaranteed — that’s $50M per year. A new standard has been set.

@Schultz_Report Why did he sign a 5 year extension if he wasn’t happy with the terms? You can come back to the table 2 years into a deal and demand more.

The #Giants’ situation with All-Pro DT Dexter Lawrence is not in a good place and has not been for a while. While money is a big part of it, another element is that Lawrence has seen many players leave the organization over the years. He’s stayed quiet, been a good soldier, and tried to be a team guy. So when it became clear last year that he had outplayed his contract and it was time for a new deal, the organization not taking it so seriously felt like a slap in the face. That has continued this offseason. In the words of one source: “He understands what those players who were shown the door by the Giants felt.”

@rushicrypto For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools (Romans 1:21–22, ESV)

Giants right guard options: Daniel Faalele Lucas Patrick Aaron Stinnie Evan Neal Josh Ezeudu Bryan Hudson
Ian Rapoport@RapSheet

The #Giants continue to add their O-line before the Draft, agreeing to terms with former #Ravens G Daniel Faalele on a 1-year deal, sources say. The 6-foot-8 Faalele started every game over the last 2 seasons and has a familiarity with several coaches, including John Harbaugh.

@WilliamWalker09 @DennyBurk See how easy it is to make your peace with scripture? Especially when it asks something of you, like your wealth? Yet you’re *very serious* about gay people and how they should live. At least be aware of your lack of authenticity.

Ryan Clark couldn't be more in error. It is wrong to play that Bible against itself, as if "Love your neighbor as yourself" (Mt. 22:3) somehow nullifies the moral norms of Scripture. It doesn't. On the contrary, the Bible says that love does not rejoice in wrongdoing but always rejoices in the truth (1 Cor. 13:6). And here's the truth: Every time the Bible mentions homosexuality, it unambiguously treats it as sin. Indeed, the apostle Paul says that those who live in unrepentant homosexual immorality will not inherit the Kingdom of God (1 Cor. 6:9-11). If your understanding of love involves giving attaboys to sinners on their way to judgment, you aren't loving them like the Bible tells you to love. It isn't loving to conceal the truth from sinners. Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish (Luke 13:3).

Selling all your possessions is not a commandment nor is it called a sin to not do so. Believers are called to give based upon the conviction in their heart: “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7, ESV)

@sola_chad Judas was regretful; Peter was repentent. Same difference between King Saul and King David. Saul was remorseful. David was humbly repentant. You can regret your way to hell or repent your way to heaven thru Christ's forgiveness.

Peter and Judas both: · Were chosen by Jesus · Were instructed by Jesus · Witnessed miracles by Jesus · Committed acts of betrayal against Jesus · Felt deep regret for their betrayal of Jesus So why did Jesus pray for Peter (Luke 22:31-32), but not Judas?

@NYCMayor Good Friday, the day Jesus Christ drank the cup of wrath to its final drop, that mercy might overflow to the undeserving. The spotless Lamb was pierced for sinners, the Righteous for the unrighteous, that all who repent and believe in Him would not perish but have eternal life.

Today, on Good Friday, we mark a day of sacrifice. Some New Yorkers will abstain from eating; others will spend hours without speaking. Faith, the Bible tells us, is belief in the things unseen. That belief is what will guide so many of our neighbors in solemn reflection and reverence. I wish all those observing Good Friday a blessed day of peace.

@StandupUSA502 @ewing_jerm47170 @Realrclark25 *ALL* have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. And the wages of sin is death. But Christ pays that debt as a gift of grace for *all who put faith in Him* Don’t you see how the most loving thing a person can do for someone else is point them towards repentance and faith?

“If Jaden Ivey was Anthony Edwards he would still be on the team” Jaden Ivey’s release isn’t just about the consequences of free speech. It’s about the tolerance that extreme talent affords you. Had he played more than 30, 33, & 4 in the past three years his actions could be forgiven. It’s not uncommon to hear the things he said in today’s political & religious climate. He’s just not good enough to say it. It feels like he’s going through something, & I pray those close to him are there with him through this time. @Thepivot, Full video out Friday on @youtube. #ThePivot #JadenIvey #MentalHealth #FreeSpeech

Ryan, you are perverting the word love and defining it in a worldly way. Biblical love is not affirming, non-confrontational and inoffensive. It is truth and compassion. It is desiring the best possible outcome for someone else. And there is no better outcome for a human than salvation.

It’s so disappointing Jon. But it keeps happening over and over again because of the perversion around the word “love.” Ryan and others take the worldly definition of love- affirmation, nice, non-confrontational, non-offensive and then try to insert that into “love your neighbor.”

Jonny Ardavanis responding to the question of whether a woman can teach from the pulpit of a church under the authority of her elders on a Sunday morning: "Well, listen, the Bible either says women can preach, or they cannot...I would just encourage people, you and I are not allowed to make arbitrary decisions and say, 'You know what, we think she can teach under our authority once a month.' A woman may be preaching under the authority of her elders, but she is most definitely not preaching under the authority of the New Testament, nor the Holy Spirit who wrote it... You may be asking, 'Would I leave a church that has a woman preaching, even if under the authority of her elders?' Yes, I would. Yes, I would. I would ask the elders to reconsider their position. I would present to them Scripture. And you may be asking, 'Why? What's the consequence of this?' Well, the consequence of this is just, it's disobedience. It's in the Bible. What's the consequence? Weak churches. And when men don't lead, churches die. And when churches break down, the culture breaks down, and you're watching this in our world today. Like in the garden, when you overthrow God's design for the family and for the church, there are disastrous consequences."
