JEREMIAHS stand boldly proclaiming the truth with tears in their eyes, cheering the wanderers to come home. JONAHS sit sarcastically on the hill, cheering on more judgment. Be Jeremiah.

The Old Testament spans about 4000 years. In that 4000 years, God performed miracles in about 130 of them. In those 130 years comprising 47,450 days, the vast, VAST majority of those days came and went without any miracles. Even in the biblical era, miracles were very uncommon. They happened, yes. But the notion that charismatics have today that miracles should be happening on a regular basis has zero biblical support or precedence.

On the night of Jesus’ arrest, Peter was willing to kill for Christ but not to die for him. LESSON: There’s a type of counterfeit faithfulness that’s willing to “kill” for Christ, but not willing to die for him. —@HowertonJosh

#Excellence can be a distraction. - too little excellence at church says we don’t care about this, we’re undisciplined - too much excellence at church says it’s all about us, look how good we are - balance= give God the work he asks for, and do your best.

Many times people think if God has called you to something, he's promising you success. He might be calling you to fail to prepare you for something else through the failure.

I’m a pretty experienced traveler, but this this is a first. Tried to catch an earlier flight on @AmericanAir, boarded, then deboarded because plane had to change a tire! Haha. Thankfully back on my original flight. I’d love to watch them change that tire, TBH.

The Black crime rate has always been higher than the white crime rate - absent some exceptional years for Irish and Italian Americans. But, the Black rate also jumped 500% (vs 300% nationally) between 1963-93...and ~45% over the past two years, due to insane social policy.
