Even as #COVID19 restrictions continue to ease, if you call 9-1-1, please wait for Paramedics to approach you when the ambulance arrives on scene. Respect physical distancing, wear your mask, allow Paramedics to don PPE and conduct necessary assessments for everyone’s safety.

This year more than ever, paramedics have been putting themselves at risk to keep us safe and healthy. For that, and for always having our backs and showing incredible strength, we say thank you. This week and every week, know that we are so grateful. bit.ly/3v8zXdn

I want to thank all of the paramedics working 9-1-1 calls on the frontlines, doing COVID swabbing, giving shots on vaccine strike teams, saving thousands of LTC residents and for just being amazing at always doing more with less throughout #COVID 😁 Showin’ some love! ❤️

This is what the inside of an ambulance looks like. In rural Canada, paramedics and their patients are contained in close quarters for extended periods of time. Paramedics, of all people, need to be vaccinated yesterday!
