I wrote a book. It’s called One Bad Mother and it’s about the concept of the bad mom in pop culture. There’s an essay on trad wives. There’s one on Casey Anthony. And there’s one on Dance Moms, God help me. It’s coming out in February 2026. I hope it makes everyone mad!!!!

Nintendo’s future innovations are all baked into their past: Just in the Game & Watch line alone they gave us… The D-Pad (NES)! The dual-screen (NDS)! The kickstand (Switch)! Look for Switch 2, then, to have a foldable case and mirror screen.

@Dr_Scaphandre @KirPinkFury Pretty sure Reggie said Nintendo's in competition with any other form of entertainment for consumers' time, mentioning Netflix specifically, back in the early days of the Wii U. So yeah, they compete directly. They just don't follow the same trends as Sony/Msoft.

@KirPinkFury ...that is one of the most stupidest things I have ever heard. Nintendo doesn't directly compete with anyone and hasn't since the Gamecube. They follow a blue ocean strategy carving out their own market. PC does the same since we don't directly compete with consoles.

@neonpajamas My favorite novel under 200 pages, @neonpajamas? Two that I don't think anyone has mentioned are "Nobody Move," by the incomparable Denis Johnson, whose greatest book, "Angels," is 209 pages in paperback so it doesn't make the cut; and "The Buddha in the Attic," by Julie Otsuka.
