El 95% de juegos de Windows se pueden jugar en Linux Pero no, solo porque el 5% no lo hace por tener anticheats que venden tus datos a Israel significa que no se puede usar Linux para jugar en absoluto Lloralo y juega juegos de verdad que no te espíen el PC

Good news for Windows 11 gamers: Microsoft is quietly working on a major internal plan called “K2” to slash bloat, boost performance, and make the OS seriously competitive with SteamOS. >SteamOS is now the official benchmark, Microsoft wants Windows 11 to deliver identical (or better) gaming performance on the exact same hardware >Dramatically lower idle RAM usage and a much lighter overall OS footprint >Heavy cuts to AI clutter and pre-installed junk >Completely rebuilt Start menu, reportedly up to 60% faster >A ton of other under-the-hood tweaks (faster File Explorer, snappier UI, fewer background processes, etc.) The changes are probably due to make Windows look better on Project Helix and future handheld/Xbox PC hardware. It finally feels like Microsoft is listening people, can’t believe it

@xdNeon1 @Pirat_Nation Linux already has a larger share than macOS on Steam, so the player base isn’t negligible if they had macOS support in the past with even LESS users. And sure, a minority will go that far but designing systems around extreme edge cases hurts everyone else.

@Wincohax @Pirat_Nation The only real way to get around it is to have a large enough playerbase on linux to justify either their own server or the cost of more cheater you also underestimate how much work people are willing to put in to cheat in a game

@xdNeon1 @Pirat_Nation The "anti cheat is less effective on linux" narrative is THEIR problem not ours. Tim says "only if we had more Devs" and they had 2 layoffs since then. The amount of ppl who would even change their OS only to cheat is close to 0. Whitelist competitive play is even possible.
