Five years ago, I started an Amazon business from zero. Today: • About $10M in annual sales • A team that grew from 0 to 10 • Averaged roughly 80% annual growth This account is where I share the real work behind it: product decisions, margins, inventory, suppliers, AI workflows and small-team management. No guru advice. Just what works, what fails and what I learn along the way.

Amazon sellers, have you updated your product titles for the new 75-character limit? Have you noticed any change in sales?

Speaking to 2 larger amazon sellers right now about their programs. Both are doing over 40 million a year in revenue and both have a strong emphasis on brand-direct. I think I will start learning more and exploring this option. I haven't maxxed out my platform yet, but I think brand direct is a huge leverage opportunity.

各国黄金与法币的汇率,从本质上看是各国法币的印刷量和国家信用的关系决定的。这就是为什么长期定投实物黄金的原因。

Today’s Saturday, my day off from Amazon store operations. I still popped into the office, but this isn’t overtime. I revisited my childhood memories by putting together a mini 4WD car. Does anyone remember the anime Mini 4WD Let's & Go?

@ecomtjb It’s true Amazon sellers get to set their own schedules, but striking a work-life balance can be really tough sometimes.

Becoming an Amazon seller gave me something I never expected: time. I'm raising 2 kids, with our 3rd on the way, and instead of missing the moments that matter because I'm stuck in an office, I get to be there. School drop-offs. Doctor appointments. Random Tuesday lunches. Playing in the backyard. Building an e-commerce business hasn't always been easy. There were plenty of long nights, mistakes, and risks. But the freedom it's created for my family has made every bit of it worth it. Money is great. Time with your kids is priceless. That's the real ROI. If you're building something today, keep going. The sacrifices can pay you back in ways that aren't measured in dollars. What's the biggest benefit Amazon has given you outside of income?

10 years selling on amazon and I can tell you the real sellers don't have time to make you a course they're too busy running their actual business if someone's got time to sell you a $997 masterclass, ask yourself why

What’s the most exciting thing about Friday? Hands down, shipping a full container of inventory from China to Amazon FBA warehouses.

The factory sent us a sample for one of our new products planned for the second half of the year. I was honestly disappointed by the workmanship and quality: 1. The drilled holes were too large and did not match the fittings 2. The cut edges were not straight 3. The welds were uneven I sent the sample back and wrote a detailed quality document for the factory to follow before making a new sample.

@fieldsofprofit I agree with your perspective. At the current stage, AI is better suited to handle separate individual tasks rather than covering the full business workflow. The process of calibrating AI is extremely lengthy, and the end results often fail to meet expectations.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but tweaking hyper-specific details in your AI systems is making you less money than sticking to the simple basics of buying more junk to resell online Easy to get trapped in work that feels like progress, but isn't

@PhilOlwig This is our daily routine when shipping inventory to Amazon FBA. Thanks for the encouragement, bro. You’re the first real seller I’ve met on X.

@ChaungJoe 现在才开始的话,其实比较难了,像中国后期天猫了,试错成本高昂。 不建议小白入局了,太卷太难。

Per Amazon’s new title policy, all sellers have until July 27 to switch their original 200-character product titles to the new format: a 75-character main title plus 125 characters for highlights. If you don’t update listings manually, Amazon’s AI will revise them automatically. Unfortunately, the AI’s computing capabilities leave a lot to be desired… So we’d better adjust our titles on our own.
Evan Swanson@Evan_Swanson_

Amazon says it'll rewrite your title with AI if you don't update it yourself by the deadline. I went and tested the tool. Turned the listing into 3 words that could mean literally anything. This is the AI that's supposedly going to represent your brand across the entire platform if you don't act first. Everyone's worried about ChatGPT or Gemini replacing their copywriting. Meanwhile Amazon built its own in-house AI for this and it's worse than what any $20/month tool spits out. If this actually goes live at scale, expect a lot of listings to sound dumber overnight

Heads up, everyone! There are barely any authentic accounts on X sharing real Amazon selling insights. Most are self-proclaimed "gurus" hawking software, e-commerce training and brand marketing services. Stay alert! Don’t get scammed out of your cash by these so-called experts before you even turn a profit on Amazon.

X günde başarı geliyor diyelim. Bugün aksiyon alan x gün sonra hedeflere ulaşmaya başlıyor. Yol uzun diyenler, başlamaya üşenenler x gün sonra başaran kişiyi görünce ulan diyor “keşke başlasaydım. X gündür yerimde sayıyorum. Ama artık geç kaldım.” Başarı 1 günde gelmiyor. Hatta gelip gelmeyeceği bile belli değilken gelecekmiş gibi, pes etmeden çalışıp çabalayanlar başarıyor✌🏻

@ifourth That’s a solid use of AI! When you mentioned aligning with Amazon’s updates, are you referring to the latest title policy (75-character limit)?

Had Claude clean up SKUs on my Amazon Seller account that my supplier no longer carries. Went from 413k SKUs down to 285k. About 30% removed in one go. Now I'll run JessePODMan to rewrite product metadata to match Amazon's new update.
