#BMXRacing has been one of the events my whole family has been gripped by this #Olympics It's a shame that Beth Shriever didn't bring it home, but I'm so glad my kids watched this interview. A wonderful athlete who helps put things in perspective. What a role model.

I posted something similar on here yesterday. Lots of people pointing to evidence which has little basis. Make no mistake, this is a political story with athletes being used as cannon fodder.

Dealing with those grey areas takes reasoning, education and structured debate. Not rage-fuelled posts that aim to stoke the fire more, which is what prompted me to pop my head above the parapet for the first time in a while #Olympics

I don't often post on social media anymore as it seems to be more vitriolic than ever, especially when it comes to issues like this. To clarify my own position, I think the world has a lot more grey areas than it ever has done in the past.
