Last year we also had the oldest group of seniors ever 🤔 It could have been an outlier! The lines for 12 seeds in 2/4 games were less than 2.5 pts (UCSD +2.5 vs Michigan & Colorado St was favored vs Memphis). THE BIGGEST line was McNeese +8.5 vs Clemson. Currently Akron is the SMALLEST 12 seed dog at 7.5-8.5 ‼️‼️ 3 seeds Kentucky (-10.5 vs Troy) and Iowa St (-14.5 vs Lipscomb) are smaller than any current 3 seed spread THREE of the FOUR 2 seeds were less than 20 point favorites. This year none of them are less than -20.5 We had ALL FOUR 1 seeds make the F4 for the first time in 17 years. The combination of value on ML due to smaller spreads and the general lack of upsets made it very chalky and impossible to profit betting all dogs. That was last year… Need to see more long term data before saying the landscape has changed
