Almost unbelievable forecast from tonight’s European model it has trended hotter. We see 32C/90F daily between this Sunday and next Tuesday in London area. Hard to believe we just experienced coolest mid May period in 15 years and now we look to see a historic heatwave. The change is violent.

Kyiv said goodbye to sisters Liubava and Vira Yakovlieva, 12 and 17, killed by the Russian attack on Kyiv on May 14.
Their dad, Yevhen, died defending Ukraine in 2023.
Dozens of the girls' friends and teachers, and dad's brothers-in-arms came to the funeral.

Yesterday, Russia killed 24 people in Kyiv, three of them children. Here are some of their names and pictures. They were simply living their lives until Russia brutally took their lives from them: ▪️Sisters Liubava and Vira Yakovlieva, aged 12 and 17. ▪️15-year-old Mariia – killed along with her dad and grandma. ▪️Yurii Orlov, captain of a Kyiv floorball club, and his girlfriend, Maryna Gomenyuk, an English teacher. ▪️Svitlana Moskalishyna, a kindergarten teacher. ▪️Dmytro Lepskyi, a "Nova Poshta" employee, and his wife, Svitlana, a teacher. ▪️Dmytro Pavelko, a "Nova Poshta" employee. ▪️Ivan Nosko, a florist. ▪️Halyna Relik. ▪️Ivan Mohylnyi, a restaurant manager. ▪️Olha Karpuk, Head of Marketing at Greenville Park (no photo). ▪️Zoya and Serhiy Petrovskyi, mother and son (no photo). The remaining names have not been made public as of now. Deepest condolences... Russia must be stopped.

The Ukrainian man who threw a rock at a monk seal in Hawaii says he was protecting turtles, according to his lawyer.
Igor Lytvynchuk was beaten up and charged after the incident. His attorney says he had no idea seals existed in Hawaii and thought he was doing the right thing.
"He frankly didn't know we had seals in Hawaii… [he thought] he was just doing something good by scaring it away."
