Not saying I don't want them. But after growing a blog to 1M/views a month and getting 80% of the traffic totally massacred in a matter of months, I now understand it's not an easy game. I mean, here we have HubSpot as an example, too. And like that, tens of thousands of sites.

I haven't slept for 36 hrs – trying to get this into the hands of early access customers... We faced so many issues turning MissionControlHQ.ai into a SaaS. We are at the very final stage now. competitor discovery is honestly the hardest part. A cost-effective approach I’ve seen work: start with SERP-based competitors for 5–10 core keywords (highest intent), then layer lightweight similarity (homepage embeddings / category tags) as a second pass.
