What makes someone transgender? Define Transgender. How does one tell apart an "authentic transgender" person vs any other cross-dressing fetishest?
If being authentically trans does NOT require some form of having specified surgeries or other medical treatments, then why should those treatments/surgeries be necessary to have, since they all are detrimental to the otherwise-healthy person (aside from his/her mental disorder). The principle of do-no-harm (given no medical treatment is necessary to make someone transgender) would seem to lead us to such "medicine" being banned, just like lobotomies, or prescribing ozempic & liposuction for anorexia.
