I assume it’s because viewers are unaware, and they trust that their favorite content creator would never cheat. However I can only forgive ignorance so much, as that naivety only allows scummy streamers to continue to prosper… (same logic could be applied to view-botters)

Back in the day; cheating in video games was like a mortal sin, and gaming livestreamers literally got cancelled for doing so. But now there are popular gaming streamers actively cheating, and the majority of their audience doesn’t care… I’m so confused as to what changed.
