RIP The Notorious RBG. She dedicated her life to achieving equality. She flipped gender law, by winning for men, she won for women. It’s so simple yet so genius and we truly hope we can all learn from her. We don’t get angry we get smart to drive change.

Morning. BBC News is looking to chat to men who’ve been discouraged by their boss, or on the receiving end of mockery from co-workers because they’ve chosen shared parental leave over paternity leave. You'd need to be willing to speak on TV. Any takers, interest or leads?

@carostrachan What did it end up being? I’d have gone LBD I think. Very odd dress code. Unless it’s helpfully one code for women and one for men?! 🤨

Painful event dress-code: Cocktail Attire / Business Casual. Where do you go with that? I'm lost.

.@IngaBeale My question for you was "You have amazing presence. You truly own it. What advice do you have for those who struggle with confidence/need to get out of their own way?" asking on behalf of @WomenAtWorkUK members.

Have you got a story of post menopausal bleeding at work? Or perhaps you have worried about taking time off for screening or for preventative surgeries? We would love to hear from you for Girl to Woman Well-being Week #EveAtWork

THIS...👇 Are you speaking at a conference/ lecture/ other event...? *Use the mic* 🎤 You might think your voice ‘carries’... ...but I can promise you that it doesn’t carry to my hearing aid unless you’re using the microphone (which is connected to the loop system...)
Sinéad O'Rourke@sineadorourke

Pet peeve: Don’t be that presenter who stands at a podium and announces you don’t need a mic ‘cos your voice carries. And worse, asks the audience to flag if they can’t hear. I’m in the audience - you want me to announce my hearing loss to the room? Use the damn mic. @ffolliet

@WomenEd It’s part of the negotiation post-offer. Let them fall in love with her and have confidence in her ability, and then the onus is also on her to ‘sell’ the arrangement and how she will make it work PT.

Asking for a friend 😊😊😊😊 An SLT position is coming up at her school and she wants it! She’s pregnant and wants to come back Part Time. There are currently no PT leaders at the school. Should she discuss PT working? Any other suggestions, please reply. #WomenEd
