I got $30 llano v12 cooler for my Macbook Pro M5 Max 128GB. (Not an ad)
It drops temperature by 10+C and doesn’t throttle anymore while running local LLM.
Best $30 spend this year.

Got one of these “suction” coolers, it actually helps reduce by 10*C when looking at mactop most of the times while keeping LLM’s running I’m unsure how much this exactly helps with performance, need to test token/s with and without but it keeps my mind at ease lol

This is one of the most elaborate distributed systems I've personally worked on.
And, fun fact: we built it twice.
Multiple weeks on one platform only to realize the platform won't work. Then I rewrote the core in one weekend to another platform.
Then hardening it there.
