Yes! We're scoping for Founders editions to start reaching homes, at the very latest, by the end of this month. Of course, shipping logistics can change the timing, but that is what we're currently looking at as our target. If you'd like to keep up to date with future updates, head here: commodore.net/stay-updated

@commodoreofcl I didn't know that. My parents bought it for me on a visit to Cambridge and I remember looking at that cover so many times waiting to go home to Denmark where I could play it. Loved my childhood trips to England because I always came back with a new C64 game :-)

Bill Gates and Steve Jobs appeared on the cover of Time magazine 8–10 times for Gates and 8 times for Jobs, both undeniably contributing to the computer age.
But someone else, who is often ignored or forgotten for his contributions to making computers more affordable and accessible, was Jack Tramiel—founder and president of Commodore Business Machines.
His company gave us one of the first all-in-one personal computers in 1977 (the PET), the first computer model to sell over 1 million units (the VIC-20, which eventually topped 2.5 million), and the best-selling single computer model of all time (the Commodore 64, with estimates of 12.5–17 million units sold).
After leaving Commodore in 1984—the year the company became the first in the industry to surpass $1 billion in annual revenue—he purchased the consumer division of Atari and headed the company for 12 years.
How many covers did Jack Tramiel appear on? None.

@andymuza @MuseumCommodore He wouldn't have been able to ordre in June. The 12th of Juli was the first day for public pre-orders. The guy might be waiting if he ordered the Founders Edition which hasn't shipped yet.
English

@MuseumCommodore When did you order them? I ask because there's a lot of people have ordered and still awaiting shipment. Had a guy tell me yesterday he pre-orded in June and is still awaiting shipment. I pre- ordered October, still awaiting shipment. Seems to me YouTubers got priority.

Two missing Commodore 64 Ultimate
This is not a complaint, as stuff happens and I appreciate that, but I thought I'd share this as two of my Commodore 64 Ultimate had their courier labels was created on 21st December still haven't turned up... one of these is the January SUBSCRIBER prize (Plug time: Subscribe to be into win! Hit the Purple Button)
Way back on December 21st I received a notification that my 2 Commodore 64 Beige shipments have been booked. NOICE!
I didn't see anything for a few weeks, which I thought is understandable as "Post" during christmas time is always slow.
By about the 7th of January, I was thinking something is up. So I emailed the Oz hub for Commodore, and heard nothing back.
Now I am thinking mid month I better find out what's going on as I had already committed one of these as my subscriber giveaway this month... and I need to make sure they are going to turn up, so I sent a message to Commodore HQ on January 12th or 13th.
To Commodore's credit they got back to me on the 14th saying they are going to investigate with the Oz distribution hub. I wasn't expecting anything to happen again, but then on the 16th, Commodore got back to me saying the two machines that had labels printed back on the 21st December have finally been shipped... WOOHOO!
So anyways, January 29th still no Commodore 64 Ultimates. I will still be drawing the SUBSCRIBER winner at the end of the month but I will have to dispatch it to the winner when these finally turn up.
I have reached out the Oz hub and Commodore again today and will see how things go. I am very much looking forward to getting my one too, as I have been looking forward to using it!
All this made me think, has anyone else run into these sort of delays with their Commodore 64 Ultimate?

When we built the C64 Ultimate, delivering a faithful representation of the original hardware, software, and sound was critical. YouTuber The Bit Culture shows how we stack up in this video: youtube.com/watch?v=_x0e8k…
