@WoodStPO @PostOffice Were in 2025 - I don’t expect to have to visit a premise to see if they’re open
If there are seasonal opening hours update them on all platforms - There’s no excuse when platforms like Google prompt the owner to do so

@PostOffice I’ve had a parcel delivered to a Post Office which is a Christmas present but the Royal Mail and DPD apps show incorrect opening hours and I’m now not going to have presents in time for Christmas - What can we do about this?

@PostOffice @dannycapewell The branch hasn’t closed early - that’s there opening hours for CHRISTMAS EVE. Nothing to complain about unfortunately. Each branch sets their own seasonal hours.

@mrmr1488 @monzo @PostOffice The branch was correct. You can’t pay for Car Tax or Bills with a Monzo Debit Card which is mad (but can with any other debit card) - I’m sure it’s a system fault. Could never understand it ourselves either

@joe101w @PostOffice If it was sent after the PF cut off on Weds then it would be correct to be delivered on Monday as that would be 48hrs.. Friday was day 1 and Monday was day 2

@PostOffice not impressed with your express 48 hr service ,you charged me £11:95 on weds 13th and my package didn't arrive until Monday 18th I put in a claim for compensation and you told me the package was delivered on time complete joke of a service

@dunksplace @RoyalMailHelp Hi it’s not that we are not interested in the tracking number.. it’s that we can’t help with anything until @RoyalMail deliver the item to us as we are separate companies. Sounds like it’s still going round in RM’s network

@MPAndy @PostOffice Hence the time saving? Now it’s all one big receipt. I get it doesn’t work for some but for others they prefer it. Re the comment about doing everything online and then dropping with PO that opens a can of worms in itself as the Post Office branch is doing this for pennies.

@WoodStPO @PostOffice Bear in mind that prior to this change, the clerk was scanning them all and then tearing off and separating the receipts rather than after every scanned package.

@PostOffice Both of my local post office counters are giving me receipts for multiple items whose @royalmail postage is bought online, on one slip. This has never been the case in the past and makes maintaining individual records for each item impossible. Why has this changed?

@MPAndy @PostOffice Time and paper savings so we’re told. We prefer it instore tbh makes multiple parcel transactions much quicker.

@WoodStPO @PostOffice So frustrating. For somebody like me who needs to attach a single postage receipt to the receipt of every individual item I send it’s useless. This surely can’t be to save money?

@MPAndy @PostOffice Andy the branch(s) are correct they have moved onto a combined receipt as of a week or two ago - across the country. Tom should be aware of this already.

@PostOffice Thanks for the reply. When I’ve raised this issue at the counter, I’ve been told “that’s how it is done now”. Getting a three foot long slip of paper with 10 different senders details on it is ridiculous as you can imagine but they’re insisting it has to be that way.

@Tinkerone3 @oohgaryc @RoyalMail Because the self service isn’t really self service in its entirety it requires some degree of staff interaction. Simply put @PostOffice need to pay Postmasters a lot better than they currently are.
