Gonna throw out a hail mary right here. @NASAAdmin has NASA selected the crew for Artemis III and when we will know who is on the crew? Just curious since we knew about the Artemis II crew almost 3 years prior to launch, and Artemis III is happening next year as per the schedule.

Back then, your best hope was basically: 'Be American, join the military, and aim to get assigned to a Shuttle mission.' That's admirable - but for kids today, it's an amazing time to aspire to that dream.

Earthshine.
Artemis II astronaut Christina Koch captured this video of Earth outside the windows of the Orion spacecraft during the second flight day of the mission. Orion was roughly 33,800 miles (54,500 km) away from Earth when @Astro_Christina took this video.

From the engineers and technicians who built the systems, to the launch team, Mission Control, and the recovery crews preparing for splashdown - and everyone behind this mission.

A newly found bright spot on the moon has been named Carroll by the Artemis II crew. This is named after astronaut Reid Wiseman's late wife.

The Orion spacecraft recently ignited its main engine on the service module for about six minutes to provide about 6,000 pounds of thrust. This maneuver sets the Artemis II astronauts on the path to the Moon.
