This is a general through line in fandom discourse. Most online fans treat movies and comics as 'real' in a way that the average medieval peasants did not think the bible was and I whenever I try to explain this to other people I feel like I'm going insane

@SamtheNightOwl Season 9 is undoubtedly the Golden Age. My personal cutoff is exactly halfway through season 10 episode 12. When they arrive at the Superbowl the episode falls apart into cheap cameos, and the Golden Age ends at that moment.
