@tohri_aa Sub-35 is solid! Running daily compounds fatigue - that km 4 fade could be cumulative tiredness. Try mixing in an easy day. Your body adapts during recovery, not during the work itself.

20/31 My goal was to do a tempo run with a twist. Run the first km at recovery pace, pick up to 6:55/6:56, and hold for the next 2km, then finish the last 2km with a 6:53. The last 2km were hard. Maybe I can't keep the pace for long bcos I run every day, but I'll keep observing.

To what extent or percentage do carbon platted shoes helps in running fast? Due to financial constraints i am not able to get a carbon plated shoe,can i get good time at two oceans and Comrades with a normal asics gel nimbus or Any unplatted shoe?

One of the runners I coach dropped his hr by 15 bpm in 4 weeks while slighly improving his pace. They key? Slow running. This runner barely did any running slower than 5 min/km before I started working with him. Sessions are still hard, but the easy runs are just way easier.

The moment you realize that, just like life, #running is not free, everything changes. Run takes with one hand but it hands back with another. It exchanges fat for muscle, frivolity for focus, hobbies for habits. Today I traded in 12km for sleep. It was an easy run but worthy.
