@Ancaster97 @WAWofficialUK Sadly the confusion has come when you read higher up and it says from the 29th March things will be able to be relaxed... HOWEVER PM’s statement says 8th, every graphic produced says 8th. The GRO have wrongly chosen to support the anomaly. Fuming.

We have had a number of reports of this and looking in this but it's hugely disappointing that the announcement has not been backed up with comprehensive guidance and that beyond these numbers, the government seem to have no idea about the issues and practicalities involved.

@Forevernarwhals I'm trying to get clarification urgently. Registrars are looking at the part of the roadmap that says only leave home under exceptional circumstances but we've worked on weddings for 6 from the 8th without exceptional circumstances.

@scullyp I'm a little confused here. You said that we can get married on March 8th with only 6 guests. What date is it?!?! This has been confusing!!!

Exceptional circumstance ceremonies for 6 are already in place so why would this even be included if it wasn’t a change on lockdown rules. Review and overturn this decision @BorisJohnson

We can't explain this. It's absolutely appalling that so many couples are receiving messages exactly like this today - @BorisJohnson's announcement really did fail couples and businesses. Perhaps @scullyp might look into this urgently. #whataboutweddings

@scullyp Can you advise why there is a new wedding Taskforce being established that you said in Parliament committee you would engage with when there is a trade body much more established that involves venues and others. We need a proper voice as we are all struggling to survive
