The spear should instead be directed at those who torture and kill innocent Ugandans in cold blood. Secondly, finding love is not a luxury, it’s a natural human instinct. Even in war zones, people fall in love. If prisons had mixed genders, trust me, some inmates would find love there too. Expecting Solomon not to love, marry, or have children simply because his father is an opposition leader is pure witchcraft. During the NRA bush war, Mr. Museveni himself had a wife and children. So, give the young man a break. If he chooses to join the struggle, he’ll do so in his own time. But before you drag him into your arguments—ask yourself: what have you personally done for your country?
