@spaceman_cometh What's crazy about the DoorDash people with fast food--if you just order it through the app (McD, Culvers, BK, whatever) and just go pick it up, they usually have deals in the app. You have to be insane to order that shit through DoorDash.

All that talk about 28 dollar lunches. I just got 4 kids meals and a bacon butterburger basket for 40 dollars. 12 more dollars and I fed 5 people. A 28 dollar lunch is craziness. Obviously we don’t do this often though, just thought it would be a fun treat on first day of summer.

In just 16 months, I went from unmarried road gypsy to a churchgoing married homeowner expecting a child, grilling for everyone at the family get together. Still on the road a lot, but that’s ok. Feels good man.

@TugboatPhil We just had our house painted. 9k in labor since we paid cash. The paint that got on the house was mostly good but he got overspray all over and there’s lots of trim that needs a second coat.

@spaceman_cometh We had windows & doors done for us and a foundation leveling for her parents within the last 3 years. Neither company even called after completion to ask how we thought it had gone. I was satisfied with both jobs but wouldn't call them again because they don't want feedback.

I just had a tree guy here to give us a quote on some work. He seemed in a hurry and didn't really listen to what I said. Then he said I was confusing him. Mainly because he wasn't listening. The crews they send are good. This is a new guy. Our exchange went like this:
