The maximum an individual can legally donate to a candidate in an election is $3300. Elon donated $277M to Trump in 2024 because of loopholes rich people use to buy elections. If you care about election integrity — overturn Citizens United so our elections aren’t auctions.

@ATT needs to know that @FedEx is dropping off new phones w/o getting signatures. This just enriches the porch pirates & puts customers at risk of major losses. No one signed for my new phone, but there was the box - in front of the sign on the door to put packages inside.

Speed with which some jurisdictions bend knees to The Regime suggests much about their real support of LGBTQ people and minorities. Maryland's Eastern Shore does not have the best track record in these matters. 30 yrs ago, as a state employee, a diner silenced when I walked in.

My Maryland colleagues and I were DENIED ENTRY to the Baltimore ICE detention center—despite following all legal requirements. Congress has a legal right to inspect ICE facilities. Amid reports of inhumane conditions, this refusal is alarming. We won’t stop fighting for accountability.

The reality of @coursera, at least where all feedback is from AI and peers is mostly hype. This could work with some content management to weed out dead responses, folks who gave up & fled?, real assistance in connecting would-be writers in groups, & making real class cohorts.

Taking the @michiganstateu "Write Your First Novel" on @coursera is a definite flop. Posts suggested for feedback are 3 yrs old. Instructions for creating a writing group are too vague for people to form them, & again, filled with old posts, new people you know can't be found!
