This photo is real and was not edited. The stone is real, the trees are real, the soil is real and the sky is real. Now, the only thing you have to do is change your point of view. Look at the photo, upside down!

@Survival__skill while some pines are edible, avoid Toxic Pines: Ponderosa pine (Pinus ponderosa), Monterey pine (Pinus radiata), and Lodgepole pine (Pinus contorta) are toxic and should not be eaten. •Avoid Yew/Norfolk Island Pine: These are not true pines and are highly toxic.

@lthlnkso @KipInItReal1 Also, how does he pay back the loans? 84,000 isn't enough to make the loan payments. So he has to sell his shares (taxed) in order to pay the loans.

People sort of act like they live in a fairytale in which there’s a group of privileged land owners and then on the other hand the peasants who have been locked out. But in our country what happens is we buy land with money. You aren’t granted the privilege to use it. You buy it with money, like everything else. And the title transfers. You can save up some money and go buy some land yourself. High housing prices, notwithstanding, very large shares of the country are still homeowners. It’s not like this is an extreme minority group.

One important correction to this: Iran didn't close the Strait of Hormuz. European insurance companies did. Seven P&I clubs issued 72-hour cancellation notices for war-risk coverage in the Persian Gulf. Within hours, tanker traffic dropped to zero. No naval blockade, no mines, no military operation. Paperwork beats force. The regulatory architecture that closed the strait is European. The energy supply it cut off was mostly headed to Europe and Asia. The U.S. transits almost nothing through Hormuz. Europe's own compliance frameworks turned off Europe's own energy supply. That's the mechanism Lagarde isn't naming.

The head of Europe’s central bank just said financial markets don’t understand what they’re in for. This is Christine Lagarde saying the damage is already done. Most people have absolutely no idea. Here is what she actually said. Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz. That chokepoint carries 20% of the world’s oil and gas. Markets shrugged. Investors assumed it would blow over. Lagarde told The Economist that technical experts are not talking about months for recovery. They are talking about years. Helium travels through the Strait of Hormuz. Helium is not a balloon gas. It is the invisible ingredient inside every advanced microchip on earth. Qatar supplies 35% of the world’s commercial helium. Qatar’s facilities have gone dark. Spot prices have surged past $450 per thousand cubic feet. Most chip fabricators carry less than three months of inventory. The world is building AI data centers at record speed. The raw material that makes the chips possible is now scarce. Meanwhile Brent crude has hit $99. Earlier spikes passed $120. US gasoline is up 30%. Iraq cut 1.5 million barrels a day. Saudi Arabia paused its largest refinery. Europe is heading into this with gas storage at 30% capacity. And the ECB is not cutting rates to soften the blow. It is considering hiking them to fight inflation. Slow economy. Rising prices. Tighter money. All at once. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

The Cowboys are trading DT Osa Odighizuwa to the San Francisco 49ers, per multiple reports and confirmed to @startelegram. Everyone knew that the Cowboys had a surplus at DT. They decide to get value for one of them, and it’s the one they drafted in 2021 and re-signed last year.
Nick Harris@NickHarrisFWST

To add to tonight’s madness… Cowboys are receiving trade inquiries on DT Osa Odighizuwa, multiple league sources tell @startelegram, and one team has a connection to a former defensive coordinator. MORE on Odighizuwa’s situation in Dallas ⬇️ star-telegram.com/sports/nfl/dal…

@BobbyBeltTX What do you mean by stable? I assume it just means you have enough bodies to field a team because this defense is giving up 30 pts a game as it is currently constructed. I hope they can draft an edge but they lack pressure players and linebackers, and relying on rookies is dicey

They were a historically bad defense in 2025. You stop the bleeding and then try to build on that. No one is saying this is a top 10 defense right now. But it's *close* to *stable*, which is what you need it to be as you head into the draft.

All they had to do was sign a good ILB and cb. Not too hard. The FA job wd hv been finished. You can make the $$ work w the void years. But now we have a huge VOID. You either work w the void years or you have a void you have to choose. You can’t not have one you WILL Have ONE or the other. I think her source is WILL MCCLAY too.

For the insatiable Cowboys fans asking what’s next? “Not a lot going on” per a team source. BUT I did ask if they are at least poking around on CB Tariq Woolen. Sounds like it’s more evaluating, discussing right now but he’s on their list of due diligence. As I reported yesterday, they felt good about their offer to Nakobe Dean and seems his side appreciated it too. “Similar to Las Vegas” and another told me it was “slightly higher” but that was a Dean decision that he struggled with. He ultimately chose comfort and familiarity w locker room. As for Queen, didn’t feel unanimous in the building and therefore the team isn’t interested in reaching to fill a position of need. The point is they will spend if the player makes sense/cents for them. They seem to be putting a premium on familiarity with scheme, versatility and ready now. I do think Trey Hendrickson is something they are watching but injury concern and over evaluation of value is factor here. Like other teams, seems they just want to monitor where that market goes but yesterday another source told me they liked what they did with Rashan Gary and weren’t gonna double down on a high dollar edge.

Rashan Gary is ok. Will help the Cowboys. How they got Dallas to give a 4 instead of a 6 or 7 I dunno. Convinced them other teams were willing to go higher for the guy they were cutting?
